Hi,

I'm getting back into 40K from a very long hiatus. Last time I was active in the hobby was years ago during 3rd edition as a little punk kid. At that time I was collecting a SM army. This go around, I'm starting an IG DKoK army. I'm drawn to their fluff and awesome models! I have not decided whether to go with a siege or assault army, but I am leaning towards an assault list using the IA12 rules; however, I am open to suggestions. I will post some of my ideas for my DKoK army in the 40K Army List forum soon and would like to hear what people think.

On another note, I thought I would join Dakka to get pointers about getting back into the hobby, forming an army, to meet up with other local Seattle gamers, and in general take part in this 40K community.

Welcome! A lot has changed since 3rd edition, mostly for the better I think (I started in 3rd too). I don't know Seattle 40k scene that much but Everett has a lot going on.

These are two great stores to meet fellow gamers and they have lots of gaming tables.

Correct. Despite countless millennia of evolution, technological advances and civilization, we're still monkeys throwing feces at things we don't like.-Zed.
