That is a great idea! I must admit I was cringing the whole time you were drilling, I thought it was going to go right through your finger.

No not at all. The video is speed up x2 and the drill is not so fast but at the video look like it is.

If you worry you can drill it with hand drill.

Drill tiny hole through end and use finishing nails on a stick, board, paint rack, etc.. and save the magnets for your models?

Just a thought, makes it handy to hang in many ways (from a wire, desk lamp...) so it is a good idea.

Also having any body part in front of a drilling-sharp end is to be avoided. I cringed too. At least we have concern for your safety.

Couldn't you just blue tack them to the wall?

Yes of course you can but magnets seems to me better solution as I had already shelf with the metal bar. Also If you look around almost everywhere in your room you will find metallic surfaces so you can easy attach it. I find magnets easier to use in general than the nail that I have to hang. Yes ok I'm a little lazy boy

I don't think blue tack is a permanent solution but it's not a bad idea.

I have to say it again. The drill is very very slow but it look very fast at the video . Also I've already made a smaller hole as a guide for the bigger one.

Thank you all for yous ideas and you concern

That is so simple and obvious, I cannot understand why people hadn't thought of doing it before, myself included. Genius, sir. Well played.

After using the brush some water will remain in the ferrule. If you store the brush with the tip up the water will dry in the ferrule and the head (where the hairs of the brush are glued). This will harm after a long time your precious brushes.
Storing them up side down the water will dry it the tip.

Do you have any evidence for this assertion? It sounds like the hobbyist equivalent of an old wive's tale.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.

I don't have pics of my brushes, or a camera at the moment, but I have a fair number of trashed artist-grade sables to attest to this issue.

You answered for me thank you very much.
Evidence no brushes that loses their hair a lot. Except there is no need to keep the moist in the ferrule.
