Beer Place School and Gajewski Boulevard Station both ruined, Lanthom Building down to lightly, will work my way back East after these last few buildings ruined.

In my view, Canker has not been successful. At no point did I see or hear reports of every building within 1 AP of Morrell being ruined, which was the goal. I'm not sure if we should attribute this to the tenacity of the natives; you guys seem to have a pretty dim view of their defenses. Perhaps it is a result of Nurglings lacking interest in this kind of play?

In any case, the upshot of Canker is that at no point was Morrell bank either retaken nor (from what I saw) did the harmanz even attempt to do so. That's interesting in itself.

I'd be happy to hear others' reflections on these tactics.

I'm ready to move on, although I don't have a clear idea of what to do next.

I know for a fact there was a point where the buildings surrounding Morrell were ruined. They may have been repaired quickly though...
We should ruin them all again and sit on them for a bit. Though the focal point should be Burt Square PD. That way we'll wipe out all ammo supply in Crowbank and disrupt a Free Running path to Vinetown.

Yeah I have seen every building being ruined a few times. I had to go out a few spaces to find a place to ruin yesterday.

It's good to hear that we did have 3x3 ruinage at one or more points.

However -

Every time I logged in since rolling out Canker (which is to say once per day every day in the last sixteen days), I needed to swat bears in the 3x3. I logged in each day at roughly the same time, indicating a fairly dynamic battle for just those nine blocks -- actually, six blocks when you consider Morrell was seemingly never attacked and two blocks are blank.

According to the stats page, there are 18 active Nurglings. Assuming everyone consistently participated (I have my doubts), is 18 too small a number to hold six blocks for more than 24 hours?

The obvious counter question is, against what resistance? Again, a couple of you seem pretty unimpressed by Crowbanks defenders but do the Canker results really support that?

With only 18 of us Crowbank should have been able to hold out with relative ease...

Crowbank, yes. How about only six blocks?

That spot is the centre of Crowbank. It also holds the only two ammo resupply spots in the area.

So crippling it should be pretty effective but that's not the result we saw.

I'm fine with staying put and smashing more gak here!

Our 18 active players are not all in Crowbank and we currently have a lot of active players that are new to the game.

Most of our old veterans are AWOL.

I'm also not really following any plan, i didn't realise this was such a serious and clinical operation, if I had known the plan, I would've executed it with a bit more sense.

As someone who hasn't played Urban Dead since 2010, how active is it now? When I quit, it was pretty much dead.

I'm not sure what you consider to be "active". In Crowbank and Vinetown, where we normally roam, there are several active human groups and a lot of freelancers. We have also visited several other suburbs and run into large, hostile human groups.

I tore down the barriers and ruined Dinwoodie.

I hit it 10 times over 40 attacks so I think I got the statistical average for hitting barricades (25%).
