True, but it is still worth adding the bad zombies to your contact list so that you can tell when they are standing next to you. Then the best option would be to move to a new square/target while hoping that one of the harmanz kills the bad zeds. That way we save our AP for harmanz without losing HP to the rogue zombies.

I hate zkers.

Pking makes sense. Humans kill each other normally. It happens in real life and it happens in zombie movies.

But zking should be taken out of the game. Zombies have a horde mentality. All pop culture portrayals of zombies agree on that.

We ain't standard pop culture zombies, LL. We have intelligence and free will. A game with the kind of zombies you're talking about doesn't need us. A computer program could do a much better job. I would argue that this is why so few people play zeds in UD. They try to act like movie zombies and find out very quickly that it is super boring. But they're not sure what else to be. I have tried to give us an alternative with the Nurglings, neither survivors in zombie suits nor boring, animalistic zombies. Rather, we have our own way -- barhah.

As for ZKers: these poor devils are just insane, and bit worse than your standard survivor at that. They are harmanz bored with living but not yet detached from the usual survivor neuroses.

From memory they call these sort of humans quislings in Max Brooks zombie books.

Whether the case of ZKers is psychologically different is quite interesting. Quislings seemed to identify as zombies as a defense mechanism under the assumption that being one of them means you cannot be hurt by them. The breakdown in that case is a matter of fear.

I think the breakdown ZKers face is a matter of boredom. In other words, they are simply tired of playing the survivor skills/abilities. They retain the same mindset of survivors (our team versus the zombie team) but they're using different weapons to make things more interesting.

It is important that we don't fall into similar thinking: we are not the "zombie team" which is equal and opposed to the "survivor team."

Athill is one SW of Gelasius. Nice canker spot when we can get the zombahz together. KT is raring for action, must be pretty boring without us tearing at stuff.

So funny how everyone wants to play a big bad survivor these days when there are so few undead around.
