So I did a search and it came back with nothing, tried a couple of variations, still nothing. I figured I'd just ask.

Abaddon in a unit of Bezerkers with IoW gives him Furious Charge, adding +1 to S first combat round. Talon of Horus doubles his S. So on the charge is Abaddon S9 ((S4x2)+1) or is he S10 ((S4+1)x2).

Edit: reading a thread about Cavalry it seems he would be S9, seeing as his base S is 4, and only the base stat is multiplied. Is this correct?

That's correct. You always multiply before you add.

It's covered under Multiple Modifiers on page 2 of the rulebook.

Its the same as algebra. ×/÷ first, then +/-, and last you apply anything that sets a stat to a specific number.

How does this work with the striking scorpion exarch and his +1 to strength that he gets before deploying and then his pf for x2?

I know how pemdas order of operations goes I just heard its different for the striking scorpion exarch.

It works the same way for the Scorpion Exarch it works for everyone else. According to the rules on page 2. There's no rules basis for anything different.

What you hear was wrong.

Some people seem to assume that, just because he was granted the modifier to S at list building time, it somehow always gets applied "first". This, of course, isnt true, as it ignores the rules on page 2.

You apply modifiers in the order laid out on page 2 unless you are told you have an exception, like GK HH.
