Chaos avoids them like the plague. The Enslavers do not seem to be sentient in a way that permits fear.

GW doesn't really focus on these side-factions or lesser Xenos very often.

Probably not, because the Astronomican predates him being on the Golden Throne. He just directs its light.

Enslavers by their very name, enslave sentient creatures by psychic means although why they do that I'm not too sure, Rogue Trader doesn't give much of a reason for their behaviour, later publications may if anyone has a source.

In order to effect and ingress to the material world three Enslavers use a psyker and turn them into a warp gate through which those three, and only those three, Enslavers can travel.

If an Enslaver were to try and control the Emperor (probably not likely anyway) I would say it is unlikely to achieve much other than killing Him; He is a corpse with a few cells kept alive by the Golden Throne,if He were to become Enslaved He woldn't be able to do much and even if He were used to create a gateway it would still only work for three Enslavers.

But then those 3 enslavers could feed on three psykers waiting to be fed to the golden throne allowing 9 more enslavers to appear. These now 12 enslavers could again feed on the unlucky conga line of psykers allowing another 36 to appear. So on and so forth. Although I severly doubt an enslaver could take over a being as powerful as the emperor to begin with.

Yep, people with strong enough willpowers can resist an enslaver.
