Would a fearless kill team auto pass the team break test (thinking death co), as they autopass leadership tests?
Also how do challenges work in kill team? This is a biggy for BT.
Sorry if either of theae have been asked before, couldn't find them in a search or in the killteams rules.

They autopass morale checks, which are a subset of leadership tests. Is the team break test considered a morale test, or leadership test?

Just to be sure, are you talking about these rules? Cause if so...

If you're talking about the Run Away rule, then I would say no.

Your Team Leader is the only one who can issue/accept Challenges. All the rules for Challenges are the same as a regular game.

Except in Kill Team, he can't "drop".

The latest rules for Kill Teams can be found here:
http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m3460063a_Kill_Team_Rules_Pack_2013.4.pdf

Break Tests are explained on page 5 and have one very interesting thing I want to point out: The test is carried out by the player and not any specific model or unit like every other leadership test would be. On Review: As suspected, the normal leadership test rules are written to explain how the process works on the unit or model level while the Fearless special rule begins with the normal 'unit benefits from one model' explanation for operating over both. This unique leadership test is done by the player and therefore could not be influenced by the Fearless special rule being present on one of his or her models. Players simply do not have the Fearless special rule, no matter how egotistical some of us are.

Neither fearless or ATSKNF auto pass LD tests.

Specifically written to not work like the normal moral rules

It's my codex and I'll cry If I want to.

Nothing will stop the Break Test. Just try to avoid losing enough models to trigger it. It is very frustrating to be winning overwhelmingly to lose a Break Test to a random die roll.

Just because you can't willingly place something in reserve does not mean you cannot take something that has to be in reserve....

Actually, according to GW's rules, it does. They banned flyers because their "must start in reserve" rule isn't allowed in kill team.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

The Kill Team rules do take into account units that must start in reserves and grant permission for them to be deployed normally instead. This is found in the deployment section of the Kill Team PDF, posted a few posts above this one, page 5. It is true they use this as justification to kick out flyers though, instead of simply out right stating no flyers, but I would allow doom to 'drop' on the first turn if he is deployed by page 5. Nice and far away from any of my units....

Question: As there is a lot of additional limitations to prevent elite army builds centered around one model, is he legal to play with?

A model is legal to play if he fits the rules in KT. The wound limitation stops alot of broken combos and also, being a unit of 1 greatly handicaps elite models. Point cost alone is usually enough to stop the really broken ones.

I said it couldn't "drop". Didn't say it couldn't be included.
But I will now. You can't take Doom, nor can you take the spore to "drop" him in.

If you could, both he and his spore would have to be deployed at the start. Like normal troops. Not "dropped".

I'm confused, why can you not take Doom?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

You can't take anything with more than2 wounds.
So Doom, and the Spore, can't be taken.

Didn't know the rules changed (again) to disallow multi-wound models. Haven't had internet for about a week, and was not about to download unnecessary pdfs to phone.

2 wound models are allowed, just not 3.
