That's with Spd6 and Spd5 infantry. And my fastest jacks are only spd5.

If I can do it with below average speed than you can do it with average/slightly above average.

You also have Advance Deployment Errants and un-kilable SPD 6 Zealots... please tell me more about your speed problems...

Speed 5 is "average"

People treating Speed 6 like it was slow

6+ = 6/36 | Reroll 1s = 7/36 | Reroll Misses = 11/36 ||||||| 5+ = 12/36 | Reroll 1s 14/36 | Reroll Misses = 20/36 ||||||| 4+ = 18/36 | Reroll 1s 21/36 | Reroll Misses = 27/36
3+ = 24/36 | Reroll 1s 28/36 | Reroll Misses = 32/36 ||||||| 2+ = 30/36 | Reroll 1s 35/36 ||||||| Highest of 2d6 = 4.47

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

I meant more overall speed.

Cygnar is definitely faster than we are.

But daughters and errants are all AD as well. I don't think Cygnar has good AD jamming units. Besides, jamming is much more than just speed.

Boomhowlers, sword knights, precursors, gun mages, rangers, and all cygnar light jacks are all spd 6 or 7. Ironclad chassis are spd 5, and the storm themed infantry are spd 5. Try playing rhulic lists if you think THAT is slow.

I dont think cygnar is meant to be extremely mobile, their guns are supposed to make up the difference.

I don't get your point...

Who said that Cygnar is meant to be "extremely mobile"? Or that we are as slow as the dwarves?

All that was said was that pushing the front lines past the objectives is a tactic that is only really valid for the more mobile factions and that we don't really have good units to use that type of tactic.

You had stated that the units available to cygnar that are used for holding objectives are SPD 4 or 5. I was correcting you as the vast majority of them are SPD 6.

First, I said no such thing, I said that the units that could be used to implement a "push past the objective" kind of tactic were SPD 4 or 5 since the units more suited to that role would be Stormknights or Forge Guard.

Second, from all the units that you listed, the only one that can reliably be used to hold an objective is Boomhowler's, unless you are advocating holding the front line with ARM <14 troops that die to a stiff breeze? (or Sword Knights, but they are so laughably bad that I even forgot that they existed for a moment)
