Wow it has been a long time since I have posted anything, I started up my Necrons again with a new paint scheme. In total this whole bunch took me probably around 4-5 hours to paint.

The biggest thing with this army is to just get it all painted and ready for gaming. I didn't want to start playing more until I have a completely painted army and I am slow at painting so I just went with what I think is a nice tabletop standard.
I currently have 15 scarabs and plan on at least doubling that and picking up a couple more spyders. I am about halfway done with this army.

I give credit to this tutorial as I pretty much followed it step by step adding a couple steps of my own. http://mrleespaintingemporium.blogspot.com/2013/07/guest-tutorial-necrons.html

The pictures actually don't show how bright and vibrant the green is, which is a shame, as they really pop. Dayglow pigments are my new favorite thing right now.

I would love to hear what you think!

Thanks for looking.

In my opinion, the glow is a bit OTT, but other than that those are some great models mate :3

Oh it is very OTT but that was the aim, especially for the warriors and scarabs. Thanks!

No it is actually "Distress Crackle Paint" I recommend it as it seems pretty strong as they don't appear to be peeling. It also comes with more than the GW pot at about the same price.

Wow, that's a pretty ringing endorsement there for the new GW technicals. It's neat to see them all in one place like this.
