So, in the profile it says the shrine bearers get d6+2 attacks. On the model, there are two shrine bearers. Does this mean each of them get d6+2 instead of Thunderstomp, (In effect 2d6+4) or is that the total attack for both of them combined? I've been doing it as 2d6+4 attacks, but .. I don't want to cheat my friends if I'm doing this incorrectly.

*headscratch* I'm sorry.. I'm still confused. In the profile, it lists shrinebearers and a shrinemaster. Unlike other chariots, the Warshrine does not get impact attacks. Instead, it lists attacks for the crew as:

2 attacks for the shrinemaster
1d6+2 attacks for the shrinebearers

They have their own weapon skills and stats and all, my question was if the shrinebearers make 2 sets of attacks because there's 2 shrinebearers.. or if that stat is for both of them combined.

Just outside the gates of hell

It is both combined for d6+2 attacks.

It is for both of them. Pretty much anytime GW puts a plural form in the profile it is because they act as one . You don't see them use the plural when describing the attacks of a unit of models. It will say Warrior of Chaos or Grave Guard or Empire State Soldier, this dictates the profile refers to one model within the unit. When they say "shrinebearers" it is effectively creating a "model" in the warshrine unit that has D6+2 attacks. This single "model" just happens to be 2 guys working in tandem.

As mentioned they are not crew of a chariot, which lists it profile along the lines of "Chaos Warrior" and in the unit entry dictates there are 2 of them in the crew. The warshrine unit entry doesn't specify there are multiple shrinebearers, which means you have the one "model" of shrinebearers as part of the warshrine.

Thank you both very much. This makes sense, because the way I was doing it with 2d6+4 seemed very strong .. even if it was only weapon skill 3. I'm glad I can correct this, I really appreciate your answers. Being new to Fantasy, I'm still figuring things out.

Another thing to note is that the Army Book doesn't list how many shrine bearers there are. Unlike a chariot, that will specify how many steeds pull it.

So yeah, it's D6 + 2 total.
