so belakor was released for fantasy and 40k, he can be used in both chaos space marines and codex deamons. He is priced at 350 but comes with eternal warrior and knows all of the telepathy disciplines and being a pysker lvl 3 doesn't hurt much either.

He is pricey which may be the only thing that keeps him out of competitive play, he is a beast all things considered, though some flying circus list may be adapted to add him in.

This isn't good, GW is going down the Micro transaction route & we all know how well that is being received by the computer game crowd.
As for the rules, its alright, knowing all the Telepathy powers is pretty broken to be fair.

you're right, they should put them in a white dwarf that costs twice the price and makes his rules perminantly unavailable to everyone at the end of the months.

Shhh you're going to derail the hate GW train
Although admittedly 99cents seems more than fair then again the price of the rules and the model is still only like 44 not bad at all for a beat stick like that.

Or, they could just update the Digital Editions of CSM and Daemons for free, instead of starting the trend of Micro-transactions. Supplements, I'm ok with Micro-transactions like this, are a terrible idea.
EDIT:
Shhh you're going to derail the hate GW train
Are we seriously starting this here? 4 dollars for a single, digital character is absurd, and a legitimate complaint.
I am not a GW "Hater". But please, continue to stereotype someone over a single logical complaint. It'll go far.

For those who haven't read it, he has a normal Daemon Prince statline with +1 Leadership. He comes with Eternal Warrior, a 4++, and Shrouded. His weapon gives +1 Strength, Fleshbane, Armorbane, and Master-crafted. He can also gain extra Warp Charge if you fail a morale check. Pretty damn solid.

Does he have Wings and/or Armor?
He sounds pretty nasty, between all of that and knowing all the of Telepathy tree.

He has wings but no armor. The main thing for Daemon players, is that he is Ld10 meaning he will be your default Warlord as all the other Greater Daemons & SC's are Ld9.
Oh & he isn't a Daemon of X or have a mark of X. So he is immune to the Warp storm table & the Daemons hatred of other Gods.

Basically, for my purposes, I'm going to run him as an allied Chaos Space Marine HQ for my Daemons list (as at LD10 he would be warlord over Fateweaver). This gives me guranteed invisibility which is a huge deal. That means my Book Prince will always be rocking a 2+ cover, rerollable. This generally frees me up to run max biomancy on my other Princes, as I always have the Telepathy tech I need (Hallucinate for Deathstars, Puppet Master for Tau, etc). In turn, one of my other Princes can throw Endurance back on Malcaor, making him more durable (as he has no armor). As he has Eternal Warrior and Fleshbane, he's a fantastic MC hunter. He can go kill WKs, Riptides, other DPs, etc, without any real fear (and can invis himself so that they're hitting on 5s if they wouldn't otherwise).
There is effectively no downside for my FMC lists running him, even the cultists aren't a liability because I can run them behind/inside my Bastion.

so you'd rather that people who paid *more* for the physical copy got screwed over? Man you seriously have a problem with gamers having access to rules, huh?
I think it's legitimate to complain about the price of this, since it does seem a bit much for what you're getting. But complaining for the sake of complaining, without even bothering to think through the alternatives (both white dwarf and digital editions would leave many players without the rules), is pointless.

For starters, how about you cut out the snide attacks on me. That's going to do nothing but get you reported.
Update the Digital edition, and update the FAQ i for the owners of a Hardback.
I didn't complain for the sake of complaining. I complained about the price of it, which you just said was legitimate. I do think Micro-transactions is a bad road to follow, which is also perfectly legitimate. I don't know what your problem here is.

Back in the good days it would have been a free PDF, like the Eldar Night Spinner, or when the rules and additional material for various specialist games went up as free PDFs.
Stop defending GW when they do bad things, because it's just a foreshadowing of where they want to move towards.

Of such small magnitude, yes. Either that or a free update for the codexes it matters towards.
The Fire Prism Night Spinner stats were free. Apocalypse datasheets were free. Those were "free" rules. Stop being snide.

Agreed.
On topic:
He looks like a beast gameplay wise. I would have no issues taking him in a CSM list. Knowing the entire tree for Telepathy is huge, and he has EW, which is also pretty huge. I think he'd be great as in a CSM allied detachment to Necrons.

I dont think its OK. Not for this price. 3,5 euro? If its one character for a long time, OK. But it wont. Put it into WD and OK, I got for the price much more stuff. With microtransactions I see selling host of fluffy characters for a HUGE money. OK, even make ebook isnt free, I know, but...

Belakor is completely fantastic. The tech benefit of the most powerful psychic table in the game combined with extremely proficient stats is incredible. The utility of using terrify or hallucination at a whim is enormous, as is the ability to slap a rerollable 2+ cover save on a grimoire prince.

I'm thinking he will be a great pick up for an army, mastery lvl 3 and knowing all of the Telepathy techs means you can puppet master and pyskic shrike guaranteed, not to mention invisibility when ready for combat. he will be definitely used in some of my list.

Sure, he's pricey, but he's also freaking amazing. He'll have a 3++ cover almost all the time, and a 4++ when not. Almost automatic invisible on a prince, who can then Grimoire him so they both have a 2++. Charge those bad boys up the field and create some havoc!

back in the good ole days they proably wouldn't have done it at all.
Funny someone brings up micro-transactions in video games. yes some of them are annoying. in other cases though it allows them to monentize something that would have previously been insufficantly profitable to bother with.

Apparently, he can be taken as an Allied Formation, which doesn't impact your Primary and Allied Detachments. So you could potentially have 7 FMC in a single CD army ( 5 in the primary, 1 in the Allied, and Be'Lakor). Ugh, that's just obscene.

I think the thing to remember is that the book is more than just the rules. It is about 11 pages....which many may not value, and you can argue is not worth $4. But it is significantly more than what is typically found as a WD data sheet.

I don't know if its fair to say you are getting "much more stuff" of White Dwarf. Battle report is the only really good thing in the magazine, and even that is mediocre. Which is why I had my local store stop getting it for me.

Has he just taken the mantle as the ultimate beat stick character? Fleshbane, Eternal Warrior, a 4++, master crafted weapon and all the telepathy on a mastery level 3? Without doing the maths (because I'm crap at it) I can see him stomping most characters. How does he math up against beat sticks like Swarmlord?
