In a couple of weeks I'll be facing my uncle in a 1500 point game and I'd like to ask your opinions on what to bring.
Now this guy is competitive (happens to play in Finland's national team), but he plays a little more casually against me and still manages to kick my butt
I was thinking that I'd use my Eldar and newly bought Space Wolves. He mainly plays IG, Chaos and SM (just SM. Uses different Codices). Hinted towards playing SM/CSM so I won't be expecting Guard now.

I was considering to use main force of Eldar on foot and small SW allies to cover the lack of CC.
Something like this maybe?

Farseer - 105p
Singing Spear

3 Warlocks - 120p
each with Singing Spear

5 Wraithguards - 210p
D-Scythes

20 Guardians - 220p
two Starcannons

10 Dire Avengers - 160p
Exarch with Shimmershield

2 War Walkers - 140p
Scatter Laser/Scatter Laser & Scatter Laser/Starcannon

Wolf Lord - 200p
Thunderwolf, Power Fist, Storm Shield

2 Thunderwolf cavalry - 100p

10 Grey Hunters - 220p
two Plasma Guns, Standard, Power Axe, Drop Pod

25 points to spare. the GH will come down and distract, TWC with the lord will flank while the main force of Eldars will move in the midfield.
Feel free to criticise, I know it isn't that good list since I haven't played with SW and my Eldar army is still pretty small.

I also have:
~2000 points of BA
Wolf Lord on foot
another 10 GH
Swooping Hawks, Striking Scorpions
Fire Prism (could be played as any tank I guess)
Wraithblades and -lord
another 5 DA

4000p
1500p

The Twilight Zone

You have a decent build for footdar, but the warlocks are out of place. 3 warlocks is just a walking killpoint, and only one can join the guardians, leaving the other 2 to sit around and die. Just keep one to give to the guardians. For the points of the other 2, take a spiritseer. These are warlocks juiced up on a cocktail of crystal meth and steroids. They function the same as warlocks as squad buffs, but have better stats, can join any squad and unlock wraiths as troops. Since you have wraith units already, it is an obvious choice(you can proxy a warlock as a spiritseer)

If you have the iyanden supplement, it allows you to take 5 spiritseers as a single HQ choice, eliminating the need for warlocks outright. You lose conceal/reveal(good for your guardian blob) but gain sheer numbers and voice of twilight for your wraiths. If not, a spiritseer, farseer and warlock will really juice your guardian squad.

5 wraithguard on foot are not that hard to kill(spiritseer helps here) and d scythes are too short ranged to make it. If you have wraithblades they work better, but really you want 10 of either. Cannons for guard, axes and forceshields for blades.

I take it the starcannons are for marine hate? Plenty good, but some long range AT like lances would be nice. Go good on your walkers, guardians or even a wraithlord if you wanted to fit one in.

Your wolf lord is a bit naked, and you could use the spare points to make em tougher. The unit is going to draw serious hate from every source around, so runic armor and a wolf tail talisman round out your spare points nicely. 1-2 fenresian wolves for bullet sponges are also ok.

GH squad looks good. Like the ax hidden in the unit, but mark of the wulfen would probably serve better. Both is best obviously, but mark is better if you can only afford one.

Thanks for the comment and ideas!
I don't own/play Iyanden supplement, but I agree that Spiritseer might be a good solution here. I just have to wonder, why do people have problems with the range D-Scythes since the Cannons are only 12" themselves. I accept them, since they are cheaper but I've always had success with my Scythes. As said, I don't own many spare models but there is still time to buy/assemble/paint something before the game.

So are the Troops okay?

I guess I should clarify. The cannon's might not make it either, but they have a slightly larger ranger and cost less. The scythes are very expensive and a high priority target. Most enemies will gun them down, so best to go cheap and spend points upgrading your army.

Otherwise troops are solid, and regardless of loadout you want the wraith units as troops.

A new shot:

Farseer - 105p
Singing Spear

Spiritseer - 70p

Wraithguard - 160p

20 Guardians - 255p
two Bright Lances
Warlock

10 Dire Avengers - 160p
Exarch with Shimmershield

2 War Walkers - 140p
SL/SL & SL/SC

Don't have the dex now and can't remember the prices of Wolves so I'll check those later. If their prices stay the same, I'll have 90p left.
