So with Escalation out, we Dark Eldar now finally have a chance to take the spot light
1. Who ever has a titan wins
2. In case of having a titan whoever goes first wins
With the above 2 statements in place, we can now take:

Baron, Vect, and Coteaz to go first every game.
Combined with a Dark Eldar Revanant Titan we practically win every game

In all honestly though, titans are ridiculous, a titan on titan fight really seems like whoever goes first wins...

Any thoughts?

My DE are pretty shiny already, and we will also have the edge in titan-killing with all our Lance weapons and Haywire.

You DO have to actually own a Revenant first, and be willing to add coteaz in to your army (not a fan despite the benefits), though you can still do pretty decently with just the baron and vect.

I'm looking forward to using a Stompa with my orks, though i'm a little pissed that Orks get just one generic stompa, no other variants, and IG get five hundred different tanks on the same chassis..

I don't see the fun and the challenge in using something like that. How will you feel when most people that dislike D weapons or escalation will stop playing against you? And apart from that, what's the challenge to use something that kills everything no matter what. I won't ask about fun, cause fun died alongside the frontlinegaming batt report. The guys are awesome and fun. The game is sad.
Oh I almost forgot, coteaz is that kind of guy to ally with eldar and DE. Yeah, sure...

Killing is easy. Being politically correct is a pain in the ass...

Not if you are just using the Escalation book.

If you are using Apocalypse and the IA books they are still fine, but Escalation doesn't allow more than one generic Stompa (with no Power Fields i might add... i'd much prefer a Big Mek Stompa )

Um, the only vehicle in Escalation for the SM is the long-since-been around Thunderhawk.

FW cranking out non-chaos love is nothing new though

The Khornemower is pretty derpy looking, and as i play mono-nurgle i doubt i'll ever pick one up.

Maybe I'm just thick, but I checked on Forgeworld and couldn't find any Dark Eldar titan. Just a normal ol' Eldar one. Am I missing something? Can Dark Eldar even take a Titan?

For escalation - they're allowed to take an eldar revenant titan.

Its because ordinance is still a word.
However, firing ordinance at someone isn't nearly as threatening as firing ordnance at someone.
Ordinance is a local law, or bill, or other form of legislation.
Ordnance is high caliber explosives.
No 'I' in ordnance.
Don't drown the enemy in legislation, drown them in explosives.

Hmmm, must have read a rumor then. I forget what it's called by I heard they got the doublebarrelled-marine-baneblade. Still, T-Hawk was in the Heresy too...

Nothing like that in the book, thankfully,

The guard get a zillion baneblade variants though. Maybe it was one of those?

I agree that CSM should get the T-Hawk (as a chaos one would look amazing) bt they have a new chaos kit to push...

Just wondering how a titan would fit through the webway. Think I'll pass on that option!

Some of the webway portals are huge - remember that Craftworlds can use the Webway as well....
