Ok like title says, what are these D weapons so many are talking about? I have played 40k for years but have TOTALLY avoided Apocalipse. Why are the deemed so scary??? Any thanks in advance to all that reply.

They ignore all saves and FNP of all kinds.
Not sure about Eternal Warrior though.

Basicly they ignore saves, killing almost everything on a 2+.

They are a special type of weapon, that is available only in apocalypse. You know how the max strength of a weapon is 10? Well, D is higher than 10. In the new rules, D ignores all saves. It doesn't matter if you have a rerollable 2+ cover, invul and armor save with FnP, RP and Regeneration; you ain't ignoring that D. Furthermore, unless you are a Super Heavy Vehicle or a Gargantuan creature, you will be killed with 1 wound.

They might not kill a W6 creature in one hit.
Regardless, no reason to continue this thread - plenty of existing places available to discuss this further.
