There are a few things I'd clean up about your list.

a.) The Plasma Pistol for the Librarian isn't very helpful.
b.) The Sternguard would do better if they had 2 or 3 Combi Meltas in EACH combat squad.
The Unit would look like this....
10x Man Sternguard
2x Heavy Flamer
4 or 6 Combi-Meltas
w/ Drop Pod
When combat squaded down I'd Make it be two groups of 5 each with 1 Heavy Flamer and 2/3 Combi Meltas. You can then try to blow up a tank with each squad or kill hordes with the heavy flamer and special ammunition.

c.)I'd make the Typhoon Land Speeders into 1 Squadron to give up less killpoints.
d.)Tactical Squads are MUCH better with a heavy and special weapon. The only time you should not give a heavy weapon is if they'll be moving the whole game. Make that decision.
e.)Put 2 Lascannons and 2 Missile Launchers in eeach squad. If I felt like it, I could just kill off your lascannon squad before your Missile Squad.
f.) The Bike Squads are fairly good. I however would never put a power axe in a bike squad, but with hit and run, I can see the point. Make that decision.

If you ever need anymore help, just ask.

I would drop the tact quads down to 5 men and drop the rhino (they are just there to hold objectives anyway) and give each 1 heavy weapons (ML or HB).

I would make the sternguard x2 Hflamers x6 combi meltas
and the last 2 plain, combat squad them into sarge/3 meltas/1 Hflamer, and basic dude/3 meltas/1 Hflamer.

For the devs take all ML it helps with a wider amount of units
(or if a lot of riptides/wraith knights go all las).

Everything here is good except the point about Missiles. Missiles are bad in comparison to Lascannons.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I thought bikes could only be taken as troops in the primary detachment. Can someone shed some light on this.

Cheers

As long as Kor'sarro Khan is your warlord it should'nt be a problem. And the warlord is picked by the HQ with the highest Initiative. In my case, both HQs have the same Initiative. Means I can choose my warlord.

Ah I see. That's the caveat I couldn't remember. As long as he's warlord then. Nice one

I'm pretty sure your warlord has to be from the primary detachment pal. I haven't got my brb on me at the mo because I'm at work but I'm about 85% sure I'm correct.

Grav Warlord has to be from Primary and has nothing to do with initiative its about leadership. You can't have bikes as troops in an allied detachment only primary.

Also what storm shield does your Libby have where did you get the point value for it?

Why the big secret on the tac squads special weapons?

Other than that I largely agree with what Feasible and Arbiter have said.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

-> the fact with the Warlord rule smashs my whole list into the bin

-> I don't have the Codex next to me, but I thought it was listed in his profile.

-> There is no secret on the tac squads special weapons. Have just not chose one.

Anyone an idea how to make the best out of it? I checked some other list in the forum and everyone who uses WS as allies have the bikes listed as troops.

How does that destroy your list? Unless you are SUPER desperate to use Bolter Drill or Siege Masters, just move Khan and the bikes into your main detachment, call it a single army, and your done.

Now you get to scout EVERYTHING MUAHAHAHAAHA!

...no, only bikes and units w/transports would gain scout? (For WS w/Khan, anyway?)

OK, checked the codex last night. A Chapter Master on bike solves the issue.

Khan on a bike (or any captain/chapter master) does in fact make bikes troops even in the allied detachment.
Khan must be your warlord if you want the scout rule for your bikes.

That's correct. You said it clear. Thanks. I will only miss the scout rule as I can't take Khan as warlord in my list.

I like the list. One thing though, you say it's for a tournament, aren't you a little light on anti air?

do you think I need more? What would be a good option for anti air?

The chapter master with 4 wounds benefits from the shield eternal *much* more than a 2-wound librarian. It only allows the librarian to take one extra wound.

Also, the librarian comes with a force weapon, which can be an axe (although the stave is better for one-shotting high toughness targets in melee). You're not throwing away your free force weapon and then paying extra for an inferior power axe, right?

Give the Chapter Master he Shield of Eternal.
