I just finished my Frostheart Phoenix and unfortunately the spherical part of the peg that keeps it afloat doesn't hold the Phoenix in place. The Phoenix falls off of the peg. Now my question is, if this is normal and what I can do to fix this? I'm not going to glue it as an option because if I do I won't be able to store the Phoenix very well.

blu-tak?

Drill into the model and fix a magnet into the hole and one on top of the sphere on the post?

I'm going to try out Blu Tac and the magnet idea is good too, but I'd need incredibly strong magnets I think.

Two 3x3mm cylindrical ones will do the job. They are quite strong and are only there to stop it tipping.

I've got a 10mmx1mm pair holding a resin FW arvus lighter on its flight stand (1/2" rod) and it holds it and even allows it to pivot - but you have to figure out where the centre of mass is.

I like your idea. It gives more stability to the model. I read on another website to drill into the center part of the chest since that is where the real center of gravity. The only issue I have with that is that of course the bird now has 2 holes in its body instead of just one. I like your idea since it gives me extra stability and solves the problem of having an empty hole. I wish I could sculpt the tail feathers where the original hole was made by GW.
