I was playing a game the other day and used the blast scatter normal 2d6 then direction.
A more experienced player came over and took over my game and said that whatever the 2d6 says you minus your BS skill. The rulebook seems to say otherwise is he he playing by old rules or what.
What's the story?

What weapon was it? What he says is how most work but not all.
Also, this is a YMDC thread and should be posted there.

The other person is right. Blast weapons scatter 2D6 minus the shooting model's BS. Go re-read the rules for blast weapons.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

In addition (although this is no longer about a plasma cannon), if a blast weapon can be fired at a target outside the firing model's LOS (barrage weapons), you can only reduce the scatter by the firing model's BS if you have LOS with the target model.
