If you do a transaction with Mobirds4all make sure your money in your bank account before you ship. This person has a small cryx army of mine that he has not paid for. He will put a stop to the transaction after you tell him when you are shipping. I provided a tracking # to the army and he still stopped the payment on paypal. He has the army I paid to ship as I have nothing and won't ship it back. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY

That's not good to hear. I really hope you find a way to get your money back, though unless you turn up at his house I and demand payment I can't see what you can do :/

This is the UPDATE I posted earlier on the thread. Glad to see people still like to tell one side of the story. Also to let you know the paypal claim was not filed til he had not responded to pms, as soon as paypal was sent he disappeared. He escalated it to a claim before they arrived with the shipping info the same day he sent it to me.

Just a update to this thread. Items were sent, recieved when they arrived they were damaged and missing several pieces to several models. He was very very persistant that I drop the paypal claim before they arrived now I see why. He then told me he has all the missing pieces but wont send them unless paypal claim is stopped. I explained that is not how paypal works. He is now pming me and threatening to say I stole his stuff and I have recieved it, leaving out the damaged and missing pieces part I am sure. This is still on going thru paypals at the time. Just wanted to post so as to let others know til a official feedback can be made.

I'd now like to change my earlier comment - I hope a good conclusion can come of this for both parties.

You will see I posted today about 1-2 hrs ago on the original post to show he was threatening me

ur suppose to pay the guy then get ur stuff, not the other way around since paypal protects the buyer from fraud and such.

1) Paid
2) Waited never heard from him
3) Filed with paypal heard back within a few hours
4) very very persistan on dropping the paypal claim
5) HE escalated to paypal claim and provided the tracking number to them before me(not a big deal) it arrived the next day
6) was damaged and missing pieces
7) he said I have those will send them out
8) said he wont mail the pieces til the paypal claim is dropped. If I were to drop the claim now there is no way to file if he never mails the pieces IF he has them
9) explained that to him and he threatened me with feedback saying I stole his stuff

Pieces arrived and several models are missing pieces, the bane knights were bent and broke, metal was bent in half and broke on axes. Deathjack arrived in pieces and COATED and I mean COATED in glue. missing spikes, steam stacks, Head, base, and small bits. missing the jaws off of deathrippers and bases. and the overloards arms were all broke off and coated in glue on there backs.

Send the models back to him, you have your money still. Unless the damage isn't that bad and you just want the parts shipped, but since neither of you seam to agree, just cut your losses and find a different source.

I am wanting the pieces IF he really has them, that was the problem he said he was sending them then refused. He escalated it thru paypal to a claim so NIETHER of have the money it is under there review, if they refund the money I told him I would send them back.

Sounds like you should just return the models at this point. You should not do a trade for used models like this without pics (either party). But certainly you must either send the models back or have the payment released, unless you come to a compromise (such as a partial refund or getting the missing parts).

Good to hear PayPal is handling it, please remember to stick to the facts here and hopefully it will be sorted quickly.

when I contacted him saying they were broke and damaged he said sorry wife packed them will find the pieces and mail out. That was were it was left at for a few days then he said well I am not going to send the pieces til you release the money, this was after he had escalated it to a claim in paypal, I explained I needed the pieces and would then tell paypal when they arrived and all was good. As for pics he posted them but nothing of the deathjack, Is coated in glue and missing the face, back spikes, hand spikes, base, part of hand and small jacks missing jaws. The rest were wrapped in plastic and arms and axes broke off and missing pieces from the smaller jacks. I am willing to return the models if he isn't going to send the pieces, but I am not going to til paypal resolves the case as I don't feel I can trust him to refund the money if I send back the models first, and if I cancel the claim now that it was escalated (which I think was what he wanted) I cant recover anything.

He has been on twice since he posted this. As I stated a few posts back he was trying to threaten me saying it was stolen. I just find it hard to believe he is being honest when he escalated the paypal claim and tried to get it dropped before it arrived.

I think PayPal will not release the funds back to you, either, until you return the items. At least, they shouldn't... but like I said I'm glad they are handling this. Please just update with what resolution you come to (again I'd recommend just returning the items and going your separate ways at this point).

Yes I agree paypal will release when I provide them proof its sent and arrived but then they will release back to me. So just waiting to see what they say.

Exactly what I was thinking.

No contact fro him since this original post. Paypal is still reviewing and he hasnt responded to them as well

Yea i had to file a claim with paypall once when someone from eBay didnt ship. I think it takes 30-45 days to get a response/your money back

This is why I only buy and sell in person.

I hate it when people post that, I mean look at all the good trades and compare it to the bad ones. I mean I feel like your more likely to get stabbed during the in person trade then a scam happen online that doesnt get resolved eventually....

Its always a risk online but have had more positive than bad

Good that you are mailing it back finally. If the OP confirms it arrives I'll close this thread. It would have been good to resolve it more quickly, but late is much better than never.

Meh. I would personally keep the models and the money unless he is willing to transfer more money to cover your shipping. And even then it would still be your call. He is the one who screwed you around, provided damaged models, did not provide the entirety of the purchase, and is now holding the models that you payed for as hostage in attempt to make you drop any possible way of getting your money back. And then he came in here trying to get you kicked off the forums with a more or less falsified story, that didn't cover what actually happened. You really don't owe him anything, and that return shipping cost is now his responsibility honestly. But I can understand wanting to be done with it. This guy sounds like a major avoidcase to me.

I didnt feel comfortable mailing back til paypal requested it. When it arrives they will refund my money. Guy liedabout what he had, disappeared, then shipped PART of it and said would ship the rest after he had the money. Guy is a scammer for sure and buyers beware of him. I am also curious as to why ,riptide, you thought I should just take his word on him, the one caught lying, and threatening me, onhis word that he would refund my money when I shipped back. Surely you can see how that sounds bad. As for how long it took that was all paypal and him. He didnt answer paypal who waits 2WEEKS before they move forward waiting for responses because he has completely disappeared and hasnt responded to me or paypal or from what I can tell ANYONE on here. I have been very disappointed with the people on dakka lately both users and mods.
