I like the use of eye colours to differentiate squads, and the overall look is quite nice. I'm not much a fan of the airbrushed feel, though, especially on the eyes (I think they'd look better dull and dead rather than glowing).

Couldn't disagree more, I think the glowing eyes look brilliant. Really like the verdigree too.

Well, (about the eyes) each to their own! I like it on the blight drone (mechanical lens) but not the other models.

On the eyes, I am sorta on the fence. Looks frickin sick on the blight drone and soulgrinder, and I love that it extremely powerful as an eye catcher from the flesh work.

OSL is a very powerful technique that tbh has to be done in a OTT fashion for it to look effective imo. If done to little the eyes simply dont have a glowing feel. I think you have captured the right amount of OSL to give the glowing feel, but I am not too sure whether its right on the squads. It is executed well and there eyes glow nicely, but I think if a deamon had glowing eyes it wouldn't be that intense, but like i said if you go with a reduced OSL then its often not very effective. So for me your stuck in the choice of whether you go with the OSL and go powerful, or you dont do it whatsoever.

Still on the fence about the models :/ I do love the use of differenciation between squads though. Thats a really nice touch. Infact I dont know! :( having re-looked. I now really like the OSL on some of them and on some others I think its too much :/ but then I dont think th3e squads would look as good without the varying degrees of the OSL throughout.

Hmmm, well in terms of the fleshwork. I think the colours are awesome and the airbrushing has come out really nicely

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.
