Howdy dakka.

I have been collecting necrons for a couple years now and just got myself a doomsday ark (yay early x-mas!). I love the model and would like to build around it but need some help on staying at least semi-compeitive with the list. We mostly do 2000pt games around my meta so here's what I have been running so far.

I'm trying for some TL synergy with the Stalkers, tesla and blast weapons in the list but I'm open to change. The only thing i'm really lacking is flyers, i have none as they aren't really a big thing in my area. I have been struggling with the list a little lately (I routinely play a Vulkan drop pod army and a pretty tough tau list who both seem to have my number) so any help would be appreciated.

Find some way to get that DDArk some protection, as to be able to use the big blast you need to hold still... thus depriving you of a jink save and leaving your 175 point big gun completely vulnerable.
(some people have had luck using the Sky Shield Landing Pad for the inv save it grants to any models sitting on top of it when the flaps are up. There might also be something worth considering in the Stronghold Assault book, but I haven't look through it yet, so couldn't tell you for sure)

Two Doomsday Arcs is better than one. Three is the charm. Every time I have run a single one it has died on turn two.

I echo, both of the above posts. You will need to protect it, because a weapon with that range and power will get attention fast.

With the stalkers, I would run at least one of them with the TL HGC... having the better range is nice. 24" range weapons on a slow moving walker isn't the best for using targeting relay.

As much as I want to love them, our bikes just aren't as good as others. ( for the cost that is) only a 4+ save and while the particle beamer is s6.. it is only ap5 and regular blast...

At 2k your troops seem a little thin and slow... I would replace the GA with a NS to linebreaker, back side objective drops. You don't get the benefit of repair barge for the ark so your not gaining to much from it anyway.

Well, yes, compared to some of the other bikes out there, but if you look at a Tomb Blade by itself, you've got a T5 jet bike (fast movement for harassment and objective contestment, plus jink saves), with a twinlinked Tesla Carbine (and we all know how much Tesla likes to be twinlinked). All for only 3 points more than an Immortal.
Just looking at that, they seem pretty decent to me.

Well, if you are willing to use stronghold assault, you can try using a void shield generation to protect the DArk. Not sure if that would be as effective as the Skyshield against conventional (in other words, non D) weaponry though.
