We are hosting our first round of a new league design. It is essentially 2 events in one day where players can play at their skill level. Our test event went awesome and we are really looking forward to this one

What if you're an old fart... I mean "experienced" 40k player who just doesn't have experience with forging narratives in 6th edition? I've played alot of 40k but only a handful of games in this current drastically different edition.

Sign up where you're comfortable then Either will work, if you are trying to relearn the rules, I suggest Tier 1

I suspect he asked the site to lock his location to Ireland or still uses an Irish ISP despite being in the States. It's subtle but you may have picked up on his heritage.

I'm Irish and asked the admin to set it to an Irish flag I moved to the states 8 years ago. We reserve the right to deny entry of a vet to Tier 1 but mostly they understand that it's a level for new players to learn in a less hardcore environment so they stay in the higher tiers. Even Tier 2 is limited in that we don't allow FW or Double force (since it's 1750). We have a Tier 3 called the Atlanta 40k Series that uses all available rules

There is also an escalation league beginning at Dice Head Games and Comics in Cleveland TN, it is about 2 hours north of Altanta. We are opening with Apocalypse mega battle. We had about 40,000 points in total and it was utter chaos. This coming event is already beginning to look even bigger than the last. It is set on January 11th with it starting at 10 AM and will last probably till about 6 PM. Free to play for all as well!

Sorry for butting in but offering it to all parties of interest and I hope you might come up for the day Horse, my family originated from the emerald isle so for all I know we are distant cousins. Haha!
