Still looks tough and nasty. Dump the Commandos and put Boomhowlers in.

Why would I do that? The commandos are there to support the grenadier to seriously harass the enemy.

Personal preference, That and some ability to sit on and hold an objective.

This list isn't for objectives, I'm working on a list that can.

You could drop the nyss hunters for the boomhowlers, Murdoch fits in with them perfectly, better than any other merc unit I would say.

eHaley is perfect for objectives and scenarios hence why she is Cygnars top caster

The issue I have with the list is that she will have to play very well forward to make use of her spells which leaves her open up. Personally I would drop the commandos for a Stormclad this will give you something to crack some armour, the Nyss and Gun Mages are giving you plenty of infantry removal. I would look at dropping the Grenadier and a hunter to get Thorn and give the other Hunter to the Gun Images UA to Marshall.

Yes, assault is great for the nyss, its just as good for the boomhowler's however perhaps better because they have to get into melee to be effective whereas the nyss really do not. Not saying they cant, but they are still effective at range. The advantage I see with the boomhowler's is that murdoch has tough so their song of defiance grants him 4+ tough rolls. Either squad is fantastic with murdoch, the nyss become less vulnerable to AOE and attacks that bypass their ARM (since you can arcane shield them), the boomhowler's DEF and ARM get pushed to very difficult to kill levels and murdoch is more difficult to assassinate with them. They also screen a much larger area since they are medium bases - something cygnar does not have in abundance. It really just comes down to what your list needs. Boomhowlers are better tarpits and less points.

Arcane shield, and cygnar has a decent selection of screen, sword knights for example.

Boomhowlers arent screens, they can crank out some actual damage, more than the nyss in fact, they just lack a good RAT stat.

Fortunately you are using cheap running jacks, so you have plenty of focus to use deadeye on those howlers of boom!

As someone who has played eHaley for the past 3 years, I can honestly tell you this list is totally boned against an armor brick or any list with alot of AOEs.

1. You have no dedicated heavy to take advantage of the warjack bond. Having a heavy you can dump focus to is one of most straightforward ways to terminate other heavies. Haley's TK and temporal acceleration ensure you always get the first hit in.

2. You have no durable melee screen. Virtually everything here, will die the moment they get hit by anything. This is why boomhowlers were suggested above. With arcane shield on, they are armor 19 which makes them resistant to low power shooting and fire effects. Their +4 tough is also means you have a 50/50 chance to avoid dying from anything. Forgeguard are also excellent, as they are weaponmasters and have defensive line.

3. Too much points wasted on expensive lights. Currently you have invested 17 points on light warjacks. Throw in an extra 2 points and you have a freaking stormwall who can actually fight in melee...
Also, why no arc node? One of the greatest strengths of Haley is her excellent spell list. Most people who go without the arc node do so because they want the points to bring in 1-2 stormwalls.

I have only just started playing Cygnar and eHaley and I have noticed all of this.

I was using Stormblades and only today have I found them to be really subpar in all of my lists. They have been killed off in nearly every game and done nothing in return. Same went for the other Jacks I was fielding with eHaley... Stormwall is good with her, plain and simple. If you don't want to take Stormwall, Ol'Rowdy is a good beatstick and most eHaley lists should never go without Thorn too.

I will be investing in some Boomhowlers and possibly Murdoch as that unit is nailz hard and can also be used in several lists.

The Nyss Hunters are great too. It comes down to personal preference between Nyss and Trolls here. Both are great with Murdoch and both tend to do well. Add to taste.

I have to say I get great mileage out of my Stormblades

Forge guard also cost a point less than the trolls but they need more support to make them really good. Usually they have the advantage in damage output over the trolls but Murdoch pushes the trolls past the forge guard in that case.

This is one of my lists for an upcoming tourney.

Deceleration and AS on Boomhowler make them fairly difficult to hit, but incredibly difficult to kill with ARM 21 and 4+ Tough.

So far, they don't work so well vs Ret, but that's what my Siege list is for.

I'm doing some edits to this list will have an one up tomorrow.
