Looking for a suggestion on the best HQ choice to fit the following list - I've just got back into playing marines and nothing is as it was! Any general feedback would be appreciated too!

HQ:
??

Elites:
2 x assault term squads with thunder hammers

Troops:
2 x tac squads in rhinos / grav + missile
1 x scout snipers

Heavy:
3 x vindicators


also - moving up in points - fast attack - which units are packing the most punch at the moment?

Personal favorite HQ is Tiggy, as for the FA slot I'm a big fan of MM attack bikes or Stormtalons.

re: termie captain - wouldn't he be susceptible to instant death from anything high strength? Dread/TH etc?

just go a captain with termy armor or artificer armor depending on who you want him with. shield eternal and a chapter relic cc weapon. 2+ 3++ save, eternal warrior, close combat beast. for 40 more points you can go chapter master to get better stats and orbital bombardment.

And FA i love land speeders.

Defiantly terminator armour but I would give him teeth of terra because for 35 pts why not

And if your worried about instant death shield eternal

If your walking the terminators across the board then:

CM with bike with artificer armour with shield eternal with thunda hammer.

As for Fa storm talons are awesome.
