Hmmmm ... Maybe the alternate Starfire dragon that Soda Pop just released for Super Dungeon Explore?

Or I'd love to get my hands on a decent (appropriately scaled) pirate ship for my Freebooter minis.

There's nothing super-rare or super expensive I can really think of. I have too much to paint already - it restrains me from buying new stuff way more than money.

(Though that Starfire is too pricey for what it is imo - so I'm not likely to buy it for myself).

Look at Old Glory for a good sized ship. With some added rigging and ratlines & deadeyes their ships would make a hard core ship modeller happy.

A Leviathan Mortis with a right handed vulcan mega-bolter and a left handed turbo lazer destructor. Then I could field it as my new Chaos warhound titan.

It is the 3rd Millennium. For more than a hundred months Games Workshop has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Nottingham. It is the foremost of wargames by the will of the neckbeards, and master of a million tabletops by the might of their inexhaustible wallets. It is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with business strategies from the early Industrial Revolution Age. It is the Carrion Lord of the wargaming scene for whom a thousand veteran players are sacrificed every day, so that it may never truly die. Yet even in its deathless state, GW continues its eternal vigilance. Mighty battleforce starter-sets cross the online-store-infested miasma of the internet, the only route between distant countries, their way lit by a draconian retail trade-agreement, the legal manifestation of the GW's will. Vast armies of lawyers give battle in GW's name on uncounted websites. Greatest amongst its soldiers are the Guardians of the IP, the Legal Team, bio-engineered super-donkey-caves. Their comrades in arms are legion: the writing team and countless untested rulebooks, the ever vigilant redshirts, and the writers of White Dwarf, to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from other games, their own incompetence, Based Chinaman - and worse. To support Games Workshop in such times is to spend untold billions. It is to support the cruelest and most dickish company imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of sales discounts and Warhammer Fantasy Battle, for so much has been dropped, never to be re-published again. Forget the promise of cheaper digital content and caring about the fanbase, for in the GW HQ there is only profit-seeking, Space Marines and Sigmarines. There is no fun amongst the hobby shops, only an eternity of raging and spending, and the laughter of former employees who left GW to join better companies.

Either a riptide or a storm raven.

Riptide because i currently have one, and i'd like another, and i also got more modelling enjoyment out of building that piece than any single other model in recent memory.

The stormraven i've always loved and with the advent of the new storm wing data slate thingy, I can sensibly get some into my Dark Angels and, if i'm reading the tea leaves right, Inquisitor army, without having to branch off necessarily into allies, which necessitates hq and troops, etc.

... i'd say something like the Space Marine full company, or the complete table + terrain set, but if someone got that for me as a gift i'd probably feel very awkward. I wouldn't want anyone to spend that much on me, even if they were filthy rich. A Riptide or Raven are expensive enough as it is.

Good call, I've just built myself a new house and what should have been the hobby room is currently full of junk.
If you have been good then try and be 30% gooder just to make sure you can fit your toys in.

Well, not really something specific to 40k.
I've gotten an Ork Stompa from Ebay for 60 Euro and I plan to field it in our apoc battle in January. Therefore, I'll get me some mounted Orks since I sold all my Orks up to the Nob Bikers and Deff Koptas.

I was about to say that you're out of luck however good you've been - they don't ship internationally.
However, it seems that policy has just changed....
