Okay, I and a friend play a house ruled version of Kill Team, where we take up to 400 points of stuff (with the normal limits).
We're planning on having a game tomorrow, and I'm hoping for some opinions.

He plays Ultramarines, and in the last game brought a 5-man Sternguard squad and 15 scouts with varying equipment. We also placed two Av12 buildings on the field (which he used fairly effectively).

This is the list I plan to field:

-Chaos Marines w/+11, CCW's, VotLW, MoN, Plasmagun, Missile Launcher, Melta Bombs, Combi-Bolter [352 pts]
-Rhino w/Havoc Launcher [47 pts]

Specialists: FnP (Champion), Armourbane (Missile Launcher marine), Ignores Cover (Plasma Gun marine).

[Total: 399 pts]

Are you not using the new rules?

We are, but we decided to up the points allowance.

Cool. Jus so it know what we are working with. With the new rules released yesterday I have these issues:

Your leader can no longer be a specialist,
Armour bane is no longer an option. Perhaps give the missile launcher relentless? Either way that number of powered armour marines will be good! But if I'm honest, I'd consider no rhino and points saving elsewhere like melta bombs. The new rules allow 3 wound models again, so get some spawn in there. A pair could be really nice. Granted they can't take specialties now, but their speed, toughness, survivability and awesomeness in combat could make them awesome!

You mean the one we have to pay £7 for? I thought the newest rules were that PDF one. Ah, well. I'll look into it.

Yeah, those ones! Haha. I know it's more money, but at least it's not as bad as £25 supplements! It's actually pretty good!
