So I'm pretty new to infinity. Well... Very new. So here's the list as it currently stands:

4 Fusiliers w 1 MULTI sniper (54/1.5)

Knight of the Holy Sepulchre w spitfire (58/2)

They're not standalone books. Everything goes together.

It's really hard to explain everything but in short:
Once you find a faction/Sectorial(read: Subfaction) you like you can build a list out of practically anything available to your faction/Sectorial and have a decent, playable force provided you do not go overboard on special weapons like Sniper Rifles, Spitfires, etc.

Yeah I've read all the rules and understand all that - I already have a 300pt PanOceanic army (built only using the standard list just incase) so that's all good.
My only confusion was around the 2 sets of rules and multiple lists but you clear that up, so cheers!
Does this include the campaign paradiso lists?

Campaign Paradiso only has two lists in it:
The Tohaa Triad force and the Steel Phalanx Sectorial for ALEPH.
The factions did get new units though, and they are definitely part of the factions. Basically: If it's in an Infinity book or on their website as a downloadable profile, it can be used.

Did you make the PanO list using the Army Builder tool that Infinity has on their site? If so, post it up and let's have a look!

I highly suggest using the Infinity Army Builder as it is a handy little thing to have.

Do you have anything specific from that list that really grabbed at you?

The dragao just coz awesomeness and the kamau hacker because it looked pretty good rules wise, otherwise not really.
I have already got all the models though, but don't let that stop you giving me improvements for the list

The list builder isn't supported for mobile or tablet which is a shame coz I don't use my computer for much anymore...

There are a few list builders for Infinity; Aleph Toolbox and Ops both run on iThings.

EDIT: dropped a palbot. Gets me under the limit and down to only 10 models thus 1 combat group

Palbot doesn't count as a model for the Combat Group limit.

Going even 1pt over is not done, no. SWC are even worse ^^

Swap the BS orc for a BS croc and you can take a second one - and I suspect that BS croc will work better for you (things are nasty ). Stay at one PAL and you could take the CR croc instead (still has light shotgun for template purposes but offers some more versatility in taking down squishy cheerleaders / suspected lt's at slightly longer range) ecen though it's a terrible model (srsly, use the BS croc regardless of loadout!).

Swapping one palbot and the BS orc for a CR croc. Who should I give the palbot to? The doc or machinist?

Depends on your style of play. Would say the dragao will tend to be the most risky and valuable target to get to, so I'd go engineer PAL

Fair enough. On that note is there any point taking an engineer if you don't have a TAG or REM (ie. my list above w/out the dragao)

Well, CA for example have an MI with STR rather than W. But in PanO, nope.

STR? Sorry but there's no link for the abbreviation.
And I assume this is in response to the engineer question?

It's the equivalent to Wounds in non-fleshy models like Remotes, TAGs, and some robotic infantry.

Doctors heal Wounds.

Engineers heal Structure.

I'd say engineers *repair* structure, but that's a very particular nit to pick

That holoprojector L2 on the KotHS might be a bit annoying for beginning players to keep track of but it's doable. Aside from that, the list seems fine.

I might leave it out for the first game or two... We'll see how it goes

By all means do. You'll be buying blisters left and right to expand the force before you know it anyway

I've already got everything except the Dragao. Oh and now the croc man due to the list changes. So that's not really a problem
