So I recently got my sisters out of storage, only to find that the box containing my transports was smashed flat.

I'm wondering if you guys could help me to make a semi-competetive list without tanks, except for my 2 exorcists, which were luckily stored in a different box. I have models to make pretty much any sisters list we could think of, I'm just kind of stuck because i don't know the current meta very well.

Well I don't know much about the sisters, but I can help you with the meta.

The biggest thing about 6th edition seems to be that armor isn't so great in many peoples opinion, so infantry is more popular. What results is:

Infantry blobs can be taken out by close-combat death stars
So people take lots of plasma equivalent weapons and split their infantry into many small units to kite out CC deathstars
So people instead take a few armored flyers or many flying monstrous creatures to kill all of these units quickly
And some people take a few high armor vehicles because few people are really prepared for them anymore, and high armor transports will protect the infantry from all the scary fliers out there.

Right now I believe tau and Eldar are the strongest, and marines are of course the most popular, as they will probably almost always be.

Despit the current meta being less favorable to mass cheap transports sisters still rely on them because of their low toughness and lack of atsknf. A tactic that has just poped up recently that you could take advantage of is blob sisters. Take a 20 strong bss unit and stick a priest in it giving the unit fearless and become a great tarpit.

hmm, ok. Would my dual exorcists and hb rets still have the impact they used to? What about my serephim, are they still useful (i have 2 msu squads of them with custom modeling on the guns so i can call them either inferno or hand flamer)

I would also suggest getting Codex Inquistion supplement. If you go the old sisters models, between the 2 codex you can about run the old Witch Hunter lists.

what do you mean by smashed flat? theyre models man, you cant fix em?

I run 2 Exorcists and a HB Retributor squad. Only getting one AOF now is a bit of a nerf for them since rending HBs are scary. But they are still usable.

Infantry blobs, but if you do that, you'll still need either immolaters with dominions to run up field and melta stuff or seraphim and Celestine to deep strike.

Either way you'll need some kind of transport to get Dominions up field or flanking.

Do you have Repentia and Penitent Engines? Maybe you could do an infantry blitz, but I can't promise how useful that will actually be.

i think what the list will end up looking like is huge infantry blocks w/ priests, serephim squads & celestine for upclose tank popping, adl w/ hb rets superior on the quad, 2 exorcists, and pray to the dice gods for their favor.

and to clarify, smashed flat means that while we were moving stuff out of the storage locker, my buddy (driving my truck no less) accidentally drove over the box containing my immos

This is a good idea. I would suggest something like this depending on points

Uriah
Celestine (optional)
3-5 Priests (1 with Litanies, 2-3 with Mauls)
20 Girl BSS (Priests and Uriah go here)
1-3 10 Girl BSS
0-2 10 girl Dominion Squads
1+ 10 Girl Seraphim Squads (For Celestine, optional)
2 Exorcists
10 Girl Retributors with Simulacrum
Aegis or Bastion

You're going to be hurting for mobility but you can outflank the dominions and the seras are fast.

i'm thinking of getting the inq dex because i miss the days of my elites slots being filled with quirky little inquisitors with silly retinues.

I recently ran a bastion with Coteaz and a Hereticus with servo and Psyker with 2 Henchmen squad with Plasma Cannons. Pretty awesome.

So if i were to go 2000 points, and use my girls, exos, and rets with priest support, and then take Inquisitor allies to put in some added serious firepower/ psychic support, do you think that could make for a viable semi-competitive list?

Yeah, it ends up being pretty decent.
