could the primarchs change their physical appearance/shape at will like the emperor....or were they stuck with their physical features/body/face/ etc....

As for the Primarchs, Magnus' visage was in a constant state of flux, and Lorgar looked physically like the Emperor, Angron was pretty much made of scars, like a defiled statue of an angel. Alpharius and Omegon were totally identical, many of the Luna Wolves looked like Horus, who seemed to share a few physical traits with Guilliman (nose, jaw), Fulgrim was quite androgynous, Corax and Night Haunter were both ghostly pale, with Curze having a more disheveled appearance. Dorn had a moustache.

Yeah, they could change their appearance the way you or I can. Tattoos, facial hair, scarring, but not like the Emperor could. Except for Magnus.

Read the wiki; it's good enough and prevents you from spamming the boards with questions. Lion had blonde rocker hair. Vulkan had black skin. Jaghatai Khan had a predilection for furry hats. Corax looked like Nathan Explosion. Curze looked like Nathan Explosion on a two-week heroin jag.

Another thread, give me strength, though, the Emp changing physical appearance may not have been a physical change but more of a testament to his psychic ability, such as he could prject a different image into the minds of people, and or actually change his physical size at times...

thats odd since the Emperor looks like Nathan Explosion with the black hair just darker skin complexion then corax and cruze....

but you got to remember, Magnus had the potential to surpass the Emperor in psyker ability

remember though Big E wanted Magnus to succeed him and sit on the golden throne

magnus with his knowlege of sorcerery and psychic potential, maybe he could surpass the emperor...or not? who knows

He did not want Magnus to succeed him as ruler of the Imperium though.
He just wanted to use Magnus as a battery for the great shiny throne.

Personally, I find the lexicanup better for xenos fluff, and wiki better for marine stuff. But, I'm crazy so meh

It should be noted though that the W40K wiki has more information and at times just C/P stuff from the Codices. I trust the W40K Wiki for the main information and the Lexicanum for details from the Black Library, as the W40K Wiki is terrible at keeping pace with the novels or simply C/P the information on the back cover and nothing else.

The wiki is pretty unreliable, because people insert their own fan fiction into otherwise decent reference pages.

Lexicanum is a bit better than that.

Both sources are better than the forums.
