Hey guys, I'm reading "Horus rising" which I just got today CHRISTMAS. anyway, I've fallen in love with the legion, but have no interest in playing 30k, so I'm wondering, is their any excuse for Luna wolves in 40k?

Not really... but there is one catch all for misplaced armies.
"Lost in the warp"

A lunar wolves ship, gets lost in a warp storm, turns up 10kas years later.. then they go on an emotional journey of discovering wtf happened to the imperium and what side they are on.

Do you know anything about Iacton Qruze shrouded lord?

So dare I ask what happens if he farts? Could it blow the seals on the lower portion of his armor? Or is a space marine's system immune to such mundane fluctuations of bodily conduct?

No one should be complaining about this codex. It gave regular Eldar a much needed buff by allowing us to drop Fire Dragons and D-Scythe Wraithguard wherever we want, without scatter. Without this, I almost lost a game once. It was scary. I almost took to buying fixed dice to ensure it never happened again.

He was In flight of the Eisenstein right? Old guy, wore the Luna wolf armour? Didn't he become a grey knight?

Actually, I think he became the first inquisitor in IOM.

But whatever my point was that, you could run a SM chapter which traced its legacy back to Iacton Qruze before he became an Inquisitor, since Qruze was the last remaining Luna Wolf at the time of the Horus Heresy.

The Black Legion supplement introduces the Thrice-Cursed traitors for exactly this reason. They're here to give people a legitimite reason for painting marines either as Luna Wolves or Sons of Horus without having to use the incredibly flimsy and trite reasoning of 'lost in the warp'.

The Wolves of Horus are a warband that broke off from the Black Legion specifically because they wished to return to the days of the Luna Wolves, when Horus was a man to be respected and fought alongisde.

Cool. I think I'l go with this idea, I could have it their being covered up by my other home brew chapter.
