I have been collecting Orks since 2008 and I have built up quite a collection. If I were to play Apocalypse with everything I have and appropriate upgrades I could play 10,000 points, about 7,000 without upgrades. How many points could you play?

Painted or unpanted?

painted at least 3000 upgraded. total with unpainted 5000. total with unpainted and wrecked models that need to be repaired 10k at least.

so with upgrades i could imagine 2500 - 3000 probs

All told about 8000 of either space marines or DA and about 2500 of tau. Haven't done a full count in a while so that may be a bit off.

Eldar - ~6,000 (painted) + ~2,000 (unpainted)

Blood Angels/Marines - ~3,000 (painted) + ~3,500 (unpainted, though mostly half-finished)

Tau - 454 (painted) + 1,546 (unpainted).

I also have about 2,000 points of painted Space Wolves, but they were done about 12 years ago and look awful.

3500+ Tyranids
200+ in Space Marines

Taking point costs as wysiwyg and the most likely magnetized options chosen. . .

Approximately 5.5k Chaos Space Marines, 2.5k Daemons, 1.5k Traitor Guard.

About 5k Invaders, 2k Blood Angels, 5k Grey Knights.

1.5k Tau.

Maybe 2k of all that is unpainted.

Um.... lots..

Orks, about 83,000 pts or so.

Daemons - about 2500 pts (tiny painting project)

Dark Eldar - maybe 9000 pts approx.

Haven't taken a census in a while. Might have to do that now.


If we're talking painted the numbers are a bit smaller.

Yeah, i have a metric gakton of the little green fethers. I've played them since RT.

What's sad is that there are folks on here that make my collection look small.

And now i have to paint said metric gakton

...Out of curiousity, how many points is the biggest army you know of?

There was an IG guy i think that had 100,000+ points, if i remember right.


Some daemon armies I've seen are in that range too.

One guy i used to know had an entire chapter of UM.

Had to be in the crazy points range.

14,000+ oints of Painted Space Wolves
8,000+ points of Painted other Space Marines
6,000+ points of mostly painted Guard
3,500+ Points of Grey Knights
500 Points of painted Tau.

Well, I just finished frantically assembling and spraying primer on a 3,000 point Tau army for a game tomorrow. I'd probably say I could field somewhere around 2,500-2,750 completely legit (well...in black spray primer. I could probably field 500 pts painted...). The rest is proxy at this point unfortunately.

If I miraculously had 10 hours and a half dozen right bolter arms, also paint my New terminator librarian... I could probably scrape 4000 points of my Salamanders.

Also 83, 000 points of orks is a crap ton of angry green space apes.

By the way, thanks for putting this thread up. Got me off my arse to check how much my armies are points-wise.

About 4000 in CSM, Deamons about a 1000 and 1850 in SM. Guard is mostly unpainted (only about a 1000 or so painted) with 2500.

I've lost count. I need to sit down and via WYSIWYG count every point the legion of tanks and troops of my regiment is worth. alongside my single little special "Space Marines"

super heavies alone, those are estimated over 10 thousand+.
best guess of LR tanks alone...... at least another 10+ thousand .
troops..... maybe 5+ thousand,
artillery about 1000 or 1500 (I think....).
Light armor (hellhounds, sentinals).... 1500 collectively maybe 2000, (2 hell hounds 2 banewolves, 2 chimeras, 4 Sentinals (3 armored and heavily armed, 1 light)
2 Vendettas ( I cannot remember the points for one off hand)

Space marines about about 1500 total maybe.


so in short a good amount.... ill get back when I have totaled them up properly.

Space marines - roughly 6-7k(75% painted)
GK - 3750(75% painted)
Necrons - 4k(all painted)
Eldar - 2k(assembled but only 25% painted)
Tau - roughly 700pts (just a riptide painted)
IG - 1000 points (720 is a warhound Titan lol)
Chaos - about 600 (since I sold my helldrake)
And my almighty singular AOBR ork war boss so maybe 200 pts of Orks ;0

Just had a big trade with my friend to get about 7-8k of nids. My new year's resolution is to convert and paint all the new models. Hopefully I'll actually get to work and get a P&M blog going to motivate me.

Between power armor and guard, I can comfortably do about 10k

Last time I did an accounting it was about 36K
I'm certainly more than that now as I've added 3 more Titans and certainly handfuls of troops here and there not to mention an IG army and my Daemon army. Daemons are certainly only about 2,000 but the IG are actually a pretty solid force, gotta be 4K+ of them.

So...44K? Give or take?

I'm always amazed how many people actually have their accounting down. You're all far more organized than I.

I have four armies, all in approximately the 10,000 pts range, although I'd need some upgrades to make that amount for all of them:

Grey Knights with Space Marine allies

Tyranids

Eldar

Chaos Space Marine with Daemon allies

Well, just take a look at my signature. It's going to increase soon, as I'm waiting for a couple of orders, and I'll add their points values once I assemble those.

Last time I checked, roughly 3000 Nids, 3000 Eldar. However that was before the new codex and before I added shiny new toys to my Eldar.

I can put out roughly 7,000 points.

Not bad considering I have no superheavies or anything.

All thing considered, and including things like my huge amount of SM HQ models, I can probably do upwards of 14,000ish these days (I can probably do 2k just with SM captains and other HQ)

The last time my whole collection was used was a couple of years back when it was just 6,000ish, and it was me against the rest of the guys at the club that day. Twas a great battle (even if it was lost by 800 points of Paladins DS-mishapping on T4) and given how much more I've got now, I need to organise another one of those games.

Close to 4000 with my Imperials, just under 1500 with my Orks.
