So IMO Eldar are pretty much the best army out there right now. (For Escalation) Even thought that could spark alot of discussion and debate, that is not what I have posted this thread for. So I decided to make a list of Eldar and Inquisition for Escalation. Here is my rough draft of the list:


Farseer

The windriders are for capturing objectives, the monkeys sit in the Bastion and use their digital weapons to get LC and blast away at the opponents GC or SH. The Farseer is just taken because I needed to take an HQ and its not bad. Anyway, this is a rough draft and I was wondering if I could get some help or suggestions on how to iron it out. Thanks.

12 monkeys is too much as you can't roll anything but 6's for their bonus' which is a waste. you should take some servitors (PC most likely).

Why take coteaz? He is not really adding much besides boosting the monkeys which a normal inquisitor can do and add servo skulls for cheaper.

How should I split the Monkeys then?

Coteaz just because he is cheap and I already have the model. Plus its really not going to matter with the Revenant on board. I also take him because he boosts the monkeys

Well with Inquisition you can do 3 squads in their special chart. I would say more than 3 in a squad is overkill you would be better off with something like this (don't remember points at work)

3 x monkeys
PC servitors
maybe one of the other buffing units if you fill inclined

Coteaz is fine but I feel that a regular inquisitor with servor skulls would give more versitility and for 20? more than coteaz you get 2 div powers (same as coteaz) and the servo skulls

I think coteaz is pretty damn important. In escalation with revenants going first is key.

Thanks Imotekh. Since I based this list off of one of your ideas, could you explain more of the possible changes/strategies of how this list works? (just because I'm a noob, lol)
