As the title says, I'm after a eversor (holding decapitated head) and a vindicare (aiming sniper rifle) assassin, didn't realise they were OOP . There don't seem to be many on ebay, so are there any suitable 3rd party stand-ins that have similar look/atmosphere to them?

I'd prefer similar looks(etc) to the originals to be honest.

(Have now added a thread in the swap shop forum)

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

For the Vindicare try a Necromunda Van Saar, give him a helmet with mask and rebreather, and an SM Scout sniper rifle.

Get the Van Saar from ebay and the rest from bitz suppliers.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

For a vindicare, I use a catachan sniper rifle dude.

If you're going to suggest other OOP models then why not just go the eBay route for the actual models?

Urban War Viridian Sniper Veterans are your friend:

I got the bottom right one in a blister from Wayland Games. Alternatively :

Infinity Haqqislam Sniper

Mercs ChemVar Sniper (I have this one too, it looks less trooper-ish than the Viridian).

Malifaux Freikorps Trapper

Depends on your preferred aesthetic.

Haven't looked for an alternative Eversor before I'm afraid

everser could be about any 'berserker" pose model with weapons and some of the skulls arent really meant to be life size but are slightly larger and can be put in place of the head as a helmet. There is also a chaos marine helmet that looks like a skull helmet with studds. He can be easily kitbashed and look good.

Hmmm, I like the 2nd and 3rd pictures, how do they scale up to space marines/IG figures?

Smaller and more realistically proportioned is how they scale to GW stuff.

Their heads are in proportion to their bodies, as are their hands - unlike the bobblehead 28mm scale GW use.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I can only speak to the Mercs sniper but it does scale far more realistically and so looks suitably small against say marines/Grey Knights to represent a human whilst not beign so small as to look out of place in 40k.

A few weeks ago, looking for a Vindicare Assassin paint scheme, I found this:

Awesome, isn't it?

Obvious, but if the Vindicare doesn't turn up at a reasonable frequency or price it can easily be replicated while still using exclusively Citadel models.
