It needs a pod if you're going to take it. It isn't bad as a skirmisher/"Deal with this" type thing. Relatively immune to interceptor, and can melta/grapple something. (Give it a grapple)

I would trade your las/plas for a mic of TLLC and TLAC. The reason is more reliable tankhunting. ACs are versatile and the TLLCs range will help with AT while keeping a couple scoring units at a safe distance.

Vindicators are just so underwhelming. I would lose it and the scouts to get some TH/SS termies to ride dirty in the land raider. I know you want that rock solid scoring unit in there, but you're not light on scoring and you can always reserve a razorback or two to protect them. The termies will give you another beatstick and Mephy can fly behind the raider unseen+untouched.

Mephiston is in the raven... if I were to fly behind the raider, what other powers would i take? I like the las/plas because it can take out elites and tanks, whereas one lascannon may just take a hp or stun it... I can do everything else though.

Vindicators are underwhelming? Blood Angel Vindicators are some of the best tanks in the game for around 140 points. I always run 2 and I do mean always. In fact just about every list I make is automatically minus 500 points for 2 Vindis with Dozer Blades and a StormRaven. They instant kill just about anything in the game and draw a lot of attention. Nobody can allow them to run freely around dropping Str10 pieplates. If anything they take all the fire so my assault units can do exactly that. How can you argue with a tank that can move 12" and fire 24" a Str10 large blast?

Start Meph on the board. That's another unit your opponent has to figure out how to deal with now. If Meph makes it to melee they are in trouble.

I like running some Death Co with bolters and a power fist or hammer in a Land Raider. Another hard to deal with unit inside a hard to deal with tank.

TLAC > Las/Plas in just about every situation.

Anything in the stormraven?

Vinidicators are underwhelming because their side armor sucks and they have no way to ignore cover. So, yeah, I'll argue against it. Their price tag is too high for a single S10 AP 2 blast template, which is usually all they get unless your opponent is a paste-eater.

Haha, paste-eater. You got exalted for that Martel. Yup. Eldar, Tau and Daemons are the things we have to fight right now. And Vindicators suck at fighting all three; AND all three have an easy time dispatching them.

Now, that might change after Nids, IG and Orks roll out.....nope, it won't change. Vindicators suck.

AV 11 is a joke now . The only hope AV 11 vehicles have it so pack 48" guns and play the range game. It's not a good hope, either.

If not fighting against the top 3 dexes, a vindi or 2 isnt bad in a mech spam.

They're still very expensive AV 11 vehicles.

Not if you run a tankline propped up with rhinos on the flanks... then no-one is shooting at the side armour of the vindis. Granted they may take out the rhino/s, but they still wont be able to shoot the side armour until the next turn and then only if you move.

Back to the subject... any other suggestions for my list?

Get rid of the PC on the raven... its your only AA and cant actually shoot down flyers as reliably as it needs to if one of its weapons has no option of shooting flyers. Razorback spam folds like wet tissue in 6th. You want that furioso turning up turn1 in a pod ideally (give him a magna grapple too). The Landraider seems to have little place in the list for such an expensive model, if keeping the razors I would drop it and get another raven instead. Use the points to get that pod and maybe a meltagun or 2.

What am I replacing the PC with? Am I putting anything in the raven? If I were not to use razorbacks, and I still wanted a semi-mech list, what should I do? Thanks guys.

I'd say just keep your razorbacks, because there is nothing BA can field in 6th edition that is really any good short of triple storm raven, and that's a gimmick list.

Those are all solid changes. For the razors, I would go las/plas or even TL las in order to try to play the range game. It's not strong, but maybe it's average. Especially with the fast rule. Despite the cost differential, I think BA razors are still better than vanilla razors, especially the las/plas config.

Now thats a much more solid list. Here is a shout for that last 80pts that fits your mech theme: a deep striking dual multi melta landspeeder. I've started using these recently. 2 multimeltas in the right place at the right time can change the course of a battle. Will only make a difference 50% of the time but when it does it will pay its points back many times over! The 12" melta range when deepstriking is more than twice as reliable as a meltas 6".

P.s. there are many who don't like this as a sternguard or command squad podding will do the job more reliably and the fact that the speeder IS a suicide unit... but you cant afford those other units for 80pts, and besides - they are suicide units too.

So now for the strategy portion... am I playing the range game with the razorbacks? am I planning on using the Assault Marines? Am I putting anything in the raven? Meph is using codex powers, correct?

Keep with mephys codex powers. Unless of course you want to run him in a raven, in which case, biomancy powers really buff him. If not, he really needs wings of sanguinius even though he has fleet. If playing las-plas razors you really want to be within at least 24" if not 12". Hopefully the preds and dread will distract the opponents firepower enough to keep these alive long enough to do some decent damage. Also a reason why I would keep mephy on the board with codex powers, means it gives the opponent a target priority headache.

Maybe drop a heavy bolter sponsoon on a pred and get 5 th/ss termis to either deepstrike or arrive in your raven...
