Greetings fellow wargamers!

I'm fairly new to warhammer 40k. I just started a year ago, but I've played warhammer fantasy and 40k a few times in the past. I'm not new to painting though, as I've been painting fantasy miniatures for D&D for over 15 years.

Game on,

T.

Thanks Glaiceana.

I forgot to mention I play CSM. I started with the DV box and have been experimenting with different units but I have no real coherent army yet.

More than enough, but I don't know if this is the right forum for that. But I can start by introducing the player characters in the current 3.5 campaign I'm running.

Sahir Silvergem
The lovable yet roguish gnome bard is the party leader (or so he thinks). Because of his obsession with "shinies" (gold) he gets the party in a lot of trouble, but he always has a back-up plan for when things go sour. The quote "no risk, no reward" is a fitting description for this character.

Varg
Varg the half-ogre barbarian is the party's weapon of mass destruction. Due to a severe head injury he isn't the brightest character and needs to be directed in the right direction, but once he gets into the action the rest of the party just sit back and enjoy the carnage.

Draven
The righteous dwarf cleric is tough as nails and stands at the frontline of every battle. When not tanking beside Varg he functions as a morale compass for the party, often leading to arguements between himself and Sahir.

Ghweed
A human cleric who is more spiritual than his down to earth dwarven counterpart. He is okay with any direction the party takes as long as it doesn't upset the balance of the multiverse.

Sarade
A young and rash human wizard who has a natural talent of getting herself in dangerous situations and somehow always has the wrong spells memorized.

Valbak
Valbak is a human monk with an interest in exotic cuisine. He will search dungeons for rare mushrooms and eat any beast they slay.

The core of my CSM army is Black Legion, mainly because I have Abaddon and IMHO I think marks on most units are a waste of points better used elsewhere (don't hit me in the face, lol!).
Which chaos legion do you play?
