I have a game vs a friend and he is taking the following list:

Ossyan
- Hypnos

Full Mage Hunter Infiltrators
- Eiryss 3.
Full Mage Hunter Strike Force
- UA.
Minimum Halberdiers
- UA.
Stormfall Archers.

My current list is as follows:

eHaley
- Squire.
- Stormwall.

Arlan Strangewayes.
JWC.

Black 13th.
Stormblades
-3WA.
-UA.

It looks like a tough game. Might drop eHaley for eCaine and drop the Stormblade stuff for ATGM + UA and something else.

Any tips?

You do have a lot of stealth to punch through, so the ATGM could always help.

ATGM + UA well protected will single handedly put that list down

Ossyan will destroy that stormwall with minimal effort. You may be better off relying on high def infantry in this matchup. Gun mages, rangers, nyss hunters, and Rhupert will all hose Ossyan's strengths a bit.

If I'm going to take ATGM and the UA, wouldn't the list benefit from one of the Caines instead of eHaley?

Well eHaley does have Deadeye and Deceleration, 2 spells that the ATGM really like.

Caine can go around and murder the MH teams and eHaley buffs the army, but the MH teams ignore the Buffs.

Well one of the MH teams ignore it anyway because it is against ranged attacks only, so it wouldn't matter if they ignored magical effects or not.

They are basically the entire reason that I wish we had some random AOE spam jack that could just pump out a bunch of continuous effect fire or something menoth style. I hate the MH teams.

Avenger under eHaley and Temporal Acceleration gives it an extra shot AOE per turn.

That, marshalled to a ATGM UA and Arlan giving it a focus would be pretty sick.

So far, I've got:

- UA.
- Avenger.

I've got 10 points left. I'm thinking a Melee Heavy is going to be a good idea, so I could go with Stormclad or Ironclad and pEiryss. Either offers a Beatstick and pEiryss is always welcome.

I could also go with Thorn and a 2pt solo. Thorn is really good with eHaley and can put out some hurt.

We have the grenadier as well. up to three 3" aoes a turn with no caster input. The problem is that jacks -especially lights- get murdered by Ossyan's archers at range.

Trencher commandos might be able to get work done lobbing grenades and firing sprays if you can find a way to either prevent them from being jammed by the infiltrators or if you can buff their mat so said jam is ineffective.

This is a matchup where Cygnar has to dig deep to compete.

I'm not a Cygnar player but wouldn't the Thunder Head or Cav do well against this?

Thunderhead will get taken apart by the MHSF especially under Ossyan's Feat.

ATGM & UA with Dirge of Mists from Rhupert on to take them to DEF16 will take them into the difficult to hit range for MHSF and with Deadeye they should be able to deal with the MHSF even with Quicken on them.

Atgm and blazers should both do well. Ehaley is great with deadeye and remember it isnt an upkeep so she can cast it more than once.

I am also a fan of Siege here with groundpounder and magesight.
