So you mean middle class tax cuts? Because I have no issues with that, in its abstract form, but I hesitate to make an argument from a position of ignorance on this element. In any case, you said "in each bracket", which includes the top brackets. It's right up there in quote boxes. I dislike the idea of lowering taxes on the top bracket; I like the idea of the top bracket at a nice 50% rate.

Fair enough... you do know that the the top 10 percent of taxpayers earners... paid over 70% of the total amount collected in federal income taxes in 2010...

I do not care what % of total revenues the top bracket accounts for, and I most definitely do not think that entitles them to a 'breather' from it. I wanna see the top tax bracket paying out 50%. Even if it got to the point where the top bracket accounted for 90% of all revenues collected, then so be it. That's how a social welfare system works.

Earning 300 million doesn't let you eat any better than 200 million.

Sure it does... when you can be eating on an aircraft carrier with a replica of the streets of Monoco! But, I digress...

This chart is brutal though..

Over 91 million American identified as NOT participating... in a nation of over 300 million... that's jarring.

Probably work

Clearly we're running out of steam from riding on all that economic inertia from the Bush era.
