Hi everyone - just giving everyone my current collection list bought from various periods and from places making my army.

As mentioned before in my introduction - im not a die hard player but more of a collector who enjoys to paint and model for display. Blood angels are my center as for me they have the rich background history being one of the original 20 chapters. They have strong colour code system and just possess for me a real hard ass type of aura however they stand,

Anyways off the top of my head here is my Blood Angel list (please note I used army builder to calculate my numbers using edition 6 of the space marines codex) I will try and be more precise with the point allocation in my next revision of this list - so here goes

I hope to get my hands on some death company soon and maybe a land raider. It seems to be a nice piece to have in the collection.

This army sounds more like a SM army. Take crimson fists or Ultramarines. The only thing youre missing out on is Mephy.-

It is an SM army and I do have mephy. It's going to pause for a good while as I need to catch up on painting. Out of all this I've only painted 18 marines. This rate in 10 years I should have the lot painted

Glorywarrior was saying this doesnt really look like a blood angels army. It looks more like a codex Space marine make up.

Which is true with the vast amounts of tactical units and scouts.

Id convert some of those tactical units into assauly marines and put them in drop pods or rhinos or razors.

I get it now. Yeah well I'm going towards a full chapter so it will have a few more of the same type squads but yeah totally agree must try to vary the looks a bit

BA is a move move shoot assault army...

Tac squads are either move shoot or shoot shoot.

What I'm trying to say is BA move forward, shoot a bit, and assault. Tack squads either get one heavy weapon, and stay still and do nothing except shoot a Lascannon or something, or they get a rhino, move up, and just shoot with bolters. ASM are the best choice for BA.

I second that but for a while now BA are outclassed by everything currently known in the WH40k universe thanks to 6th edition. But I still love them what else can I say

they are either coming out after orks or after SW... so, wait for then?

Yeah I'm hoping it won't be a big appointment because were pretty handicapped at the moment

If they do that they are a lost cause to keep people interested. If someone has invested so much to compete and ends up with an army worth thousands that is useless to field then that's bad business, bad customer relationships and bad everything else. I wouldn't put it past them though to screw it up

There is still a great base of BA players. I dont think GW would let BA be the less competitive codex along with SoB.

A dedicated counter to overwatch and cheaper jumpacks would be enough for me. Ah and the I5 back for Dante´s axe.

And cheaper DC, because I believe they are going to take away rage.

I'm just hoping the codex isn't a let down and does actually bring back some spark to the BA legion
