As the title says, I'm new to 'Crons (and not too familiar with 6th Ed, having only read through the BRB once), but I've tried to gain as much information about the army as I could before posting this up. Any help would be appreciated, although, if you give advice on changes I should/could make, please give reasons as to why. I need all the help I can get to understand the army.

I hope I managed to calculate all unit and wargear costs. Also, the only model I have out of the above list is the Annihilation Barge (still unassembled), so feel free to make any changes you think would be useful.

Just asking where is The Lord going, and where are the crypteks going? Also in case you haven't found out 6 wraiths with a destroyer lord w/ warscythe is one of the most dangerous units out there. If you want to do some research look up lists by competitive Necron player Jy2

I was intending to have the Lord join the wraiths, and have each of the crypteks join up with one of the warrior units. (Stupid question: ICs can begin the game in the dedicated transport of the unit they're in, right?)

Also, I've read a couple of Jy2's battle reports, that's where I got a lot of information from. I opted not to go with 6 wraiths right off the bat because I wanted a little bit of verity in the army before I start getting really focused on making it more competitive (which is what I'm aiming to do).

Gotcha! So far it seems like a very well balanced list. About the crypteks, yes they can start the game in the transports because they join the unit before the beginning of the game. Stormteks are probably my favorite. They can't do anything against monstrous creatures and such but stick them in front of any vehicle and just watch it fry. I usually run the Triarch stalker to take out big bugs and the like and throw a couple stormteks in night scythes to take out pesky long range vehicles cause they can get right in their face.

I'm also trying to build into a semi-, if not fully, competitive Necron build. I'm aiming for the av13 spam rather than wraith wing or flying circus though.

Wraiths doNt reanimate so drop the res orb.

Id drop the destroyers and get 2 more annihilation barges

That would give you 20 tesla destructor shots. Winning!!

Would dropping the Destroyers for two more Barges be more optimal? Also, if I do that, is there anything the resulting list would have trouble dealing with? I'd like it to be a good TAC list.
