Warning From Magnus? Not Listening!

Now I've never played (or played against) them so I'm not sure how these guys girls play...
This is what I've come up with:
EDIT: new list from suggestions
HQ
Celestine
(135p)
TROOPS
5 Battle Sisters - Immolator (120p)
5 Battle Sisters - Immolator (120p)
HEAVY SUPPORT
Exorcist (125p)
How does that sound?
Cheers,
BP

I would drop the Canoness with Blade and get Celestine, if you can. Even counts-as, you're better off.
Also, probably swap the HB on the Immo for TL-MMelta.
The Penitent looks cool but is often disappointing. I guess we'll see at 500 points if it can hang.

I took the Canoness for two reasons, a) it's cheaper and b) I like the model...
But I'll see what I can do.
I'm thinking your right about the MMs but what's wrong with the Penitent? At 500pts w 2 other vehicles in the list I'm thinking it should be able to hold up...
Edit: also the Canoness doesn't have a JP. Doesn't that complicate things if you take Celestine w no other jump troops - she just gets shot to sh*t?

Celestine has a 2+ and comes back from the dead. If you need to, you can hide her behind a vehicle and jump out. Also, she can attach to an exposed squad. She is better in every way than the Canoness.
The Canoness with your loadout is not much cheaper than Celestine and exponentially worse.

Was not aware of the back from the dead thing, but without ditching any of the (barebones) vehicles I can see where she'd fit... Any suggestions?

Drop the penitent. It almost always turns out to be a disappointment if you don't use target saturation, which is impossible in 500pts.
|
1400 points of EW/MW Italians (FoW)
2200 points of SoB and Inquisition (40K)
1000 points of orks (40K)
Just starting out with Ultramarines (30K)
Four 1000-2500 point forces for WHFB (RIP)
One orc team (Blood Bowl) |

QFT, get an exorcist in your list if you can, they're really wonderful!

Quite the contrary (says the noob who's never used or seen one used)! Surely with two other vehicles and good use of cover it'll make it through the day. No? Automatically Appended Next Post:
No bloody likely w me trying to get Celestine in as well.
... Unless I start from scratch (?) Automatically Appended Next Post: So new list. See the original post.

What are you giving the immolators?
Heavy Flamers of Multi-Meltas?

Oh right forgot to add that. I was actually thinking heavy bolters as the exorcist has got the firepower for tanks. Was considering giving one (or maybe two) MMs though.
However nothing is set in stone, what would you take?

Do you a strict 500 point limit, or did you choose 500 because it sounds like a nice starting number? I always find that 600 points gives you a lot more options to get some variety in your list. Get the exorcist a storm bolter (5 points for essentially a 4+ save against weapon destroyed), include some flamers in the BSS and maybe switch to rhino's to include a third squad (alternatively, if your opponent agrees, use the Forge World Repressor to give your sister squads a 13 AV on the front).

Yeah 500pts is my preferred points level and it happens to be popular at my FLGS too, so win win!
Most people allow FW too. Any idea which book the repressor's in? I've got most of them but I don't want to have to search through them all unnecessarily...
The storm bolter sounds like a good idea, but not so sure about the rhinos. I think I'll leave them as immolators.
Any idea which weapons I should be giving the immolators?
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Found the repressor's but where's the AV13 front armour coming from? IA2 says 11...
Also the issue of points, without ditching an Immolator (at least for a rhino) I can't get anymore points out of the lists as it's all barebones.
Would it worth changing an Immolator for a rhino, 2 flamers and storm bolter on the exorcist? If so should I give the remaining Immolator MMs?
Cheers
