So I won a fantasy counter set in a contest a few weeks ago, and suffice to say this thing is more than a little confusing to look at. There's 6 little tokens that pretty obviously mean charging and fleeing, but there's these 8 little coins with a skull on one side and a comet on the other, no idea what that's about, a charge arc indicator, which I'm not quite sure how to use, and a combat resolution instrument that's ummmm....yeah

So yeah, does anyone use these things? I really like the template set, but that's not what this is.

I only got this because I ordered the deal with the pack that you can carry the book in and this came with it.

The only thing I actually use is the calculator for combat resolution and using it for Power/Dispel dice as well and the charge arc sometimes.

Anything to note with magic effects, I just use the dry-erase counters from Warmachine.

The charge arc indicator comes in pretty handy every now and again, actually. Other than that, the rest of the set is pretty useless, as everything else it represents is either obvious on the battlefield or easily mark-able otherwise.

How exactly do you use the charge arc?

You put it on either corner of the unit that wants to charge to see if the target is within 45 degrees of the front.
