Didn't know about alcohol and resin. Thanks for the info. What are you all using to degrease this mess?

Washing up liquid and a hard toothbrush should do the job, just make sure that the washing up liquid has a de-greasing agent in it, I forgot the technical name which isn't very helpful

In American (our English), we call it dish soap, but it does need a good degreaser to it.

Simple Green works really well, if you can get it. There is a British version, but I can't remember what it is called. Usually you find it in the automotive section or household cleaning in a concentrate. The nice thing about it is that it isn't hard on your skin and is the consistency of water, so you can put it in a sonic cleaner, or just soak in a jar.

Dish soap works pretty well too, but I find I lose a lot of bits in the bubbles

I haven't had any problems with the creature caster models. They went together very easy and look great. New GW lord of change shown for scale and no wings yet on the blood thirster stand in.

However, I did have to REMIND Jeremy via Facebook that I never got a shipment request. It was sent within a few hours and I got my models in something like 4 days!

Looks like you had a wee bit more luck with yours. Those look much better than what other people got.

Received my Plague Angel earlier this week. Detail is definitely softer than I would expect, most notably on the back of the wings. And ye gods, the mold release! There was also an annoying mold line right down the centre of the chest caused by a slight mold slip that was awkward to fix.

Assembled it yesterday after soaking it in dish soap. It went together very easily with very little gap filling required. It is a really nicely designed model, just execution is lacking.

Overall, I'd say the quality is a step up from Bones, but below every other large resin model I've put together (e.g. Mierce, FW). I'm unsure where to apportion blame for the soft details. I think the original CAD design may be the reason the feather detailing is soft, it may not have translated into a 3D print.

I'm happy enough though, it will look very impressive when painted up in my cabinet alongside my Nurgle army. I'll consider picking up a Pincer Demon if they run a sale at some point. Feel free to PM me if you have one you are looking to offload.

Got my stuff today. Plague Angel, Maggot Daemon, Vulture Daemon and Treewoman.

Quality is better than I expected. Soft detail but no major mold lines. 2 very minor cases of mold slip. Parts fit well and nothing was broken or missing. They feel very robust and would stand up to heavy-handed handling and gaming.

Secret mini is trash, simply from a design standpoint.

Overall I'm happy with the product, but the journey to getting them was terrible. I'm tempted to use the backer discount for the Glutton Daemon but a big part of me is saying "don't give them any more money".

We'll see...

Been a while since I've posted, but I just got my shipment, and after a quick look, I'm definitely more impressed than I thought I would be. It might not be as crisp or defined as was advertised,
and there are definitely some issues I found on a few, but compared to what I was hearing everyone else say about theirs, I'm definitely relieved and excited to have them in hand.

I plan to fully picture and post reviews of all of the models, so hopefully I can get that posted over the course of the week (as I'm going to be rushing to build these, that's for sure! )

Soft.
I think that's the word the best describes the minis, soft.
Not awful, just soft.

I think the easiest way to give an example of quality is the bird dudes wings. The feathers don't have texture. If you think a large scaled mini should have texture on feathers, these are not the minis for you.

Very interesting to read. I'm very happy I stayed out of this...

I made a thread about my experiences with this KS. Lots of images and I guess it's long winded. I'm not a pro writer or photographer, but I hope it helps anyone who needs to know.

Thanks all.

Some of that doesn't look too bad. Certainly fixable, but definitely not what was promised. Certainly not as crisp compared to other minis studios. Minion Miniatures and Heresy are tiny studios and do some excellent stuff. Creature Caster will certainly be going on my blacklist after I get my stuff.

On the upside, it does look like they're (gradually) improving. The first pics I saw from folks on this thread were disheartening.

Received my TreeWoman, a little while ago.

Wife opened it while I was doing some paperwork and asked what I'd ordered in such cheap plastic, and why was it so ugly looking.

I didn't have anything to say until she asked me when I ordered it and how much I paid.

I cried, she laughed, I cried more, she laughed more.

Well, my replacement Spider Demon arrived today. Sent via Airmail and marked as "Replacement part", so I didn't get stung by Customs. You know something, when I compare it to the original I received, they've really sorted out their quality control. THIS model is what I paid for.

I'm a happy customer now. Not happy with how long I waited...no "hub shipping".....or the lack of certificate of authenticity (which is promised on the KS)....but I'm happy with the models I now have.

What? It's totally comparable to the quality produced by someone who's high, that an apt description.

It sounds like the customer service dept seems to be working hard to fix issues and the newer stuff seems to be doing better. People are getting replacements. Give them a ring and tell them your issue. You paid for quality, get quality.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Well said!

I'd like to think that the 'new owners' here would be willing to work with just about anyone in order to improve their efforts across the board and even grow their customer base.
