Hey everyone,
So here is my 1000 point eldar list.
I am just missing some heavy support so once I go to 1250 I will be adding a wraithlord and either some swooping hawks or jetbikes.

HQ
Avatar of Khaine
Fast Shoot
205

Troops
10 Dire Avengers
Exarch shimmershield and power weapon
160
Wave Serpent
Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon
Holofields
145

10 guardians
Starcannon platform
110

Elites
5 Wraithguard
d-sythes
210

Fast Attack
5 Warpspiders
95

Vyper Squadron
Star Cannon
Holofields
70

Total: 995

How do you think that will hold up against Space Marines, Tau (no riptides) and Necrons? I think I will need to put the wraithguard in a wave serpent so they can use their d-sythes more effectively. I could also take out the avatar and put into a jetbike squad with a farseer on a jetbike. Thoughts?

I agree about putting the guard in a serpent. The avengers will be fine on foot, particularly with a shimmershield, although 4+ armor will stop most enemy small arms.

Consider dropping the vyper for a spiritseer. The spiritseer makes your wraiths troops, and functions well with any of your troop choices.

Solid list, shame you can't burn your last points...could always take Night Vision on the Avatar!

Decent start. Are these the only models you have?

Remove wave serpent from gaurdians and add to d scythe wraith guard. They need the mobility.

Dire avengers should be replaced with gaurdians imo there cheaper and not much worse.

drop upgrades from vyper except for starcannon, they die to easy and its not worth the invested points.

avatar is expensive and doesn't do much for the list. I would drop for a mantle sear if you have one

The Avatar's only ranged weapon has a 12" range... You couldn't find a more useless upgrade if you tried.

Regarding the swapping him for the jetseer and bikes I think that would be more tactically sound as both are brilliant units. On the other hand I'm a sucker for the Avatar. Either will work, the bikes maybe more easily, but the choice is yours

Oh I know its a totally worthless upgrade, I was being facetious in suggesting it.

Solid start.

I agree on dropping the Vyper and getting Spiritseer, works better with your army and that lone Vyper isn't going to change lot. Other than that the list seems pretty great.
Altough you are really light on AT so how about giving BL to the Guardians?

nothings ever useless....

The avatar goes over to the enemies aeigis lines gun, kills all enemies around it, and gets it in time to shoot the gun at 5th turn. COMPLETELY USEFUL

I was actually just offered a sweet deal on a wraithknight do you think that would fit well in a list like this? It seems pretty expensive but since I don't have any heavy support do you think it would be useful?

I would probably drop the vyper and the Avatar and switch out for spiritseer then a wraithlord. maybe dropping 5 of the Dire Avengers? How would I equipt a wraithknight?

How would you equip it? If I am going to use it for heavy support would the best be suncannon, scattershield and then starcannon?

I don't have my codex on me so can't see how many points that i but it would probably be over 300 points eh?

Usually just stock wraithknight. Suncannon is just so expensive, and stock wraithknigths are really good also.
