Actual tools, or good ones? Because the lists are different.

That's the short answer.
Again, the list will be different depending on if you mean AV14 front, or AV14 all around.
Monstrous Creatures are....dubious. Even S10 with a reroll to penetrate means that there isn't a single MC in the book that will dump a Land Raider in 1 phase. They just don't have the attacks to take 4 hull points in 1 phase. If by some miracle you manage to chip one off with some of the ranged fire available, you are looking at a face full of unpleasantness in the form of a command squad, terminators, honor guard or whatever else. Most of the time a monstrous reaches a Land Raider in melee, you can bet the marine player wanted it. That said, trading a 120-200 point MC for a 250 Land Raider isn't an awful trade most of the time, just don't expect it to happen too often.
Zoanthropes. They can and will cook an AV14 vehicles in short order....of course, who's letting a Zoan get close enough? With no pods, infiltrate, deep strike or anything else, the best you can do here is onslaught + run and hope the marine player is willing to come into your range. If you are running zoans, and the enemy player is running AV14, than you can bet your butt the zoan will have the biggest target ever on them.
Tyranno-fex + rupture cannon. Tyrannos are poor IMO, and the rupture cannon isn't making them any better really. Pass here.
Spore mine clusters. Too random and not high enough strength for AV14 IMO.
Crone vector strike....D3+1 dice needing 6's to glance is....sub-optimal.
Hive Guard...well, the impaler needs 6's to glance and while the haywire weapon glances on a 2+, you have range issues just like the zoanthropes. Not to mention that the haywire weapons are not very friendly for a take all comers list.
The heavy venom cannons aren't even as effective as 1 lascannon...and you need a heap of lascannons to dump a Land Raider.
None of the other possibilities are even worth mentioning. Rending claws + adrenal glands on genestealers/shrikes make it possible to glance, but 3+ to hit, 6 for the rend then a 5+ means you need 27 attacks per hull point...and you need the charge as well. Basically means 5 rending/scything/adrenal gland strikes are good for a whooping 1 glance on the charge.
There aren't a lot of good choices really.

Firstly, Warp Lance.
Secondly, Carnifexes (and other MCs to a lesser extent). Carnifexes are better because with Crushing Claws you don't need to smash and you'll likely take out a Land Raider or equivalent in a turn. They're also significantly cheaper than most AV14 all round vehicles, which is a big plus.

Monstrous creatures eat through them like potato chips. AP 2and with it so easy to break through the armor to roll for damage, doesn't take many hits at all (often only one) to cause an explosion.

During 5th edition codex and 5th edition one of the best solutions to a landraider was just to burry what ever was in it in gaunts, making it hard for the hammer terminators inside to get a good charge. 5th edition was not kind to tyranids, and there where very few builds.
In 6th edition ouer best weapon would be a smash attacl, followed up by warp lance in second place. You can also try to interscept it's cargo with cheap gargoyles and just tarpit whatever is inside once they get out. (This can be hard if the landraider tank shocks through the 'goyls and charge faterwards.)
Fearles WS 3 with blind. Just blind them and they will be hitting on 5's and 6's.
If you want to inerscept it sooner both harpy and crone can be good deliveres of the smash attack.

Why has noone mentioned haywire? 5 out of 6 times you will glance or pen. Almost any mc can take one for 10 points. My flyrants never leave home without it anymore.

Backlash you got a point, it is well worth having for 10 points.
However the haywire itself has a very small chance of actually destroying the vehicle. I would rather smash it with another MC. And also the tyrand could be else where doing other stuff then shredding off one hull point.

Here's the issue I have with that. The most prominent av 14 we see now is going to be a LR. Generally speaking. You do now want to be close to whatever is inside of said vehicle. Its not worth the risk when we can so easily field enough haywire to easily drop said vehicle. I run a lot of electro larva as deturent to walker assaults "my meta" I also run one hg in a brood with shock just forreasons like the deathstar delivering lr. It doesn't even hurt the overall list by taking specialist units just to kill a vehicle that may or may not show.

I see. I would just think that for most lists the haywire hive guards would be the specialist unit you take that will only be good against a small margine of opposing units that may or may not show. What I was loosing to last time was 2 to 3 flyers in each game, that is what I am concerned about. For regular transports I often think the regular hive guard, MC's or zoantropes are better.
The haywire flamer template is very good, but the one that I think will be fielding it the most is the flyrant. Unless it was very crusial to the situvation I would generally not use a flyrant vs a landraider because he would get charged.

Dealing with deathstars in Land Raiders is relatively simple for Nids. Peel it open with an MC, swarm the innards with Gaunts/Genestealers/Gargoyles.

Chuck a brood of carnifices/fex/fexes (I have no idea how to pluralise carnifex) at it.

You have to get Crushing Claws if you want Armourbane.

Oh and rupturefexes are now much cheaper. Warp lance zoanthropes are less viable due to the loss of pods and AP1 though. Haywire is also worth a shot.
