If harpies are smash attacked (s 10) by another mc, because they are t 5, does that mean they are instantly killed on any unsaved wounds?

Yeah. Should anything with S 10 punch them in the face after they are grounded it will indeed die after 1 unsaved wound because of ID.

My tests of facing the crone show the tentaclids to be pretty nice antitank, and that template is gold against tau/crons.
Also vector strikes that ID battlesuits are unfair.

Most flyers don't like str 10. They are usually getting penned on a 2+ and a + 1 or 2 to that table. Not much str 10 can hit flyers.
My advice is don't get grounded.

I have no idea why Nid players are so upset that their flyers can be insta-killed with a S10 shot. So can every other flyer....want to know what CAN'T insta-kill your flyer? S7-S9, which CAN insta-kill everybody else's flyers. Heck, some can even be insta-killed by S5 or higher!
Be thankful for wounds instead of AV.

Yeah, good thing they are immune to small arms fire just like flyers as well... ...oh, nevermind.

I would if they also could move 36 inches per turn, didn't have to worry about Instinctive Behaviour, poison, fleshbane or Grounding tests, could fire 4 weapons a turn, were immune to small arms fire and were only hurt by strength 7 on a 4+ instead of a 2+.
