I can't find it in the rules - sorry!

What is the effect of being armed with two of the same weapon?

Is it +1 to that models (B)urst?

Yes it is. I think the rule is in Paradiso. It was clarified after people tried using two of any type of direct template to also claim the +1 burst.

There was no trying, before Paradiso you could use any 2 template weapon with one Order.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

It is +1 to burst for any BS weapon including DTWs, up to a maximum of B5, but only in the active phase. See here http://infinitythegame.wikispot.org/Dual_Weaponry . For CC, it allows you to combine the special effects of both weapons -- Shock and AP for example. See here http://infinitythegame.wikispot.org/CC_with_2_Weapons .

Gotta love the Wiki.

Thanks to all for the answers, and to Red Harvest for the Wiki Link - I tried searching the Wiki, but couldn't get the right phrasing, apparently!

Another quick question/clarification...

A 5 man link team performs a move-move.

How many orders does it take, and if there are two enemy models with LOF to the entire team, how many AROs do they get?

I think it is one order to move, and two AROs generated, 1 for each enemy with LOF?

A 4 man group performs a coordinated order move-move.

How many orders does it take, and if there are two enemy models with LOF to the entire team, how many AROs do they get?

I think it is 4 orders to move, and two AROs generated, 1 for each enemy with LOF?

Nope. That's a special skill, not something that can be done by any model that happens to have two CCWs. Off the top of my head, Senor Massacre/Deadpool and Takeshi Oyama are the only models who have it.

Link team move-move:
This takes one Order.
Each enemy model with LoF or in ZoC will get one ARO.

Coordinated Order move-move:
This takes four Orders - one per model taking part.
As above, each enemy model with LoF or in ZoC will get one ARO.

Note that with Coordinated Order you have to declare both parts of the Order at once and then your opponent announces their AROs, while the link team would declare their first move, wait for AROs and then decide on their second short skill - for example Dodge if there are too many ARO shots coming in.

Really? I didn't know that. I always thought it was one order for all four, hence my disdain for link teams.

I think that's why many people are undervaluing Link Teams, maybe?

One order to move up to 5 models is pretty good...

Yep. The downside is that apart from the Link Leader their only protection from incoming fire is to not be visible at any point of the move or to waste the leader's offensive abilities by Dodging.
