I have a Revenant Titan and I will get to use her this weekend and I am very excited. But I have two questions:

1. I used a wooden oval base. Does this base count as part of the model for assaulting and movement? Can a model be placed on this base as long as they are 1" from the foot/legs?
2. Can this model stand on a landing pad or other terrain?

Thank you.

You would just ignore the base. They are vehicles and everything is measured from the hull (which is a problem when the are not that balanced, so a base is practically required).

CC, however, is measured to the base if one is present.

Yeah, there is no chance that the titan would stand sans base.

So I could put models on the base? Or, more specifically, some one could deepstrike a drop pod on the base as long as they are an inch away from the titan? That's my real question.

Yes, as the model doesn't come with a base, you should treat the model as if it lacks one.

The Revenant Titan does come with a base, though.

What titans do come with, or are meant to be mounted on bases?

Neither did mine. When did you buy a revenant and get a base? Especially given the FW website states "This model comes with 2 head variants, base not included. "

They mean the base in the pic isn't included.

Older models came without a base - many still don't. My ScabbieAthrax came with a base. Zarakynel came with a fantasy chariot base. My warhound and reaver did not.

Basically if you've built a base for it, measure to and from the base. It makes very little difference in the end.

Spellbound - which is why I was asking if the revenant titan - the subject of the thread - came with a base, as jeffersonian claimed "the revenant titan does come with a base, though"

The one I own, did not come with a base. Neither did the OPs. Neither has any of the ones friends has bought. No base is mentioned on the website as being included (although FW arent amazing on this topic) however they do go out of their way to state a base ISNT included - the one pictured or not, they do not specify.

Additionally A revenant is a vehicle, and not a creature model, so if you notice a common theme there as to which models you have did get a base. Oh, and neither of the creatures are "titans", just GCs.

Except it doesn't. FW is pretty explicit that "base is not included" in the product descriptions on their site.

Weird, my brother's Revenant came with a round base. Oh well.

Round? That would have to be a large dinner plate, no?
Any chance of a photo?

Indeed, pics, given they don't make a base that size that is round....
