Ya i get the feeling i would find this more staggered release sched more annoying than anything, not that i buy any GW stuff anymore. I do still stalk it though of course, like its a hot old girlfriend who's moved on to a guy with a nicer car and fatter wallet.

That's 40k. Check page 9 of the main rules for this game.

Not my style, and no need. Check the rules listed; it is a template. As for the new rules, it sounds neat enough but makes my Tomb Kings sad that their unique take on magic was too much for the game.

It is absolutely going to stop in this thread - right?
Yes, yes, it is.
EDIT:
Unless there actually is a 5" Flame Template for WFB, along with a 5" Blast marker, and a smaller Blast Marker too?
I'm confused.

It uses the exact same templates (yes, I call round ones as templates as well. Because that's what they are) as Wh40k. Even the company calls them templates. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440162a&prodId=prod2290034a Warhammer 40,000 Munitorum Tape Measure; Warhammer 40,000 Munitorum Templates; Warhammer 40,000 Psychic Cards; Dice Cube. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440006a&prodId=prod800016a Looking like they've been taken from an Empire Engineer's workbench, the Warhammer template set contains a pair of ornate templates for use in your games. The flame template is used for all manner of spells, the breath weapons of monstrous creatures and some exotic war machines. The area affected by the flame is defined by the outside of the template. The sun device comprises both a small and large template and even has the central holes for specific targeting. You use the inside of the circle to define the area that has been hit. Can this discussion on the semantics of accessory names be closed? It's all rather silly. Especially when it's so obvious what they meant.

Maybe that's why older dwarves don't like this newfangled technology? Maybe they're sitting around, nursing their beers, complaining that aerodynamics is no excuse for abandoning good old fashioned hard edges.

OK. So they make more sense now. They HAVE to be able to hold beer. "Bombs away!" The model seems better already.

It looks pretty awesome. Almost makes me wish I were buying it. Even with tax season coming up, I don't know if I'd take the plunge and grab anything. I'll have a look a few months down the line and see what eBay is looking like I guess. 'Course with my group not really playing WFB too frequently I probably shouldn't bother anyways. I doubt I'd be able to get either of the two non-players on board for it when the start up cost is what it is. Ah well, I may not be playing it or buying minis for it, but I am glad to see Dwarfs get some actual love in terms of good sculpts.
Probably still pick up the rulebook for old times sake though (well, okay, maybe not... with the Mutant Chronicles RPG KS going on and the price of a GW hardback being what it is... *sigh* ). I guess I may just have to get by reading about second hand accounts of it.

Great news IMO. Saw him at Gamesday last July and asked him if was writing the next Dwarf book and he quickly changed topics to avoid the question. I'm pumped to see the final product and i don't even play them. He's a really cool guy too.

Not far off, actually. The same coopers who make barrels and casks for beer are the ones who make the casings for the bombs the bomber drops.
