So, I keep hearing everyone hating on Flayed ones, But I dont think they seem too bad.. Can be 20 in a group, Only 4+ armor save, But they have reanimation protocols giving them survivability.. And they have 3 attacks each!
Also, do anyone know of good alternative models for them that arent finecast? I was thinking Chaos Cultists.. (Flesh eating necron cultists! Muahaha!) But.. They have guns..

You could use the old metal versions, which imo, are superior to the newer ones. If you get Imperial Armor 12, you can have a lot of fun with them. They are so much better in a Dark Harvest list.

Yeah, the metal ones are so much better. Unfortunately, They are metal, And hard to get... And I realy want Imperial Armour 12... I also hope my friends would allow me to play the necron list from it.. But I wont be able to get it untill I have built up my Necron army a bit..

They have quite a few of the metal versions up on ebay. You could try your luck there.

Agreed the metal ones are better
The only downside to them is the points cost whilst lacking an effective delivery system, they suffered like a lot of assault based models, deep striking all well and good but you get shot then overwatch and then you don't really have any close combat tricks
But a combat unit in a necron army is never a terrible thing, I'd just be looking at allies instead
