Does the Tyrant's due increase the cover save of aegis defensive lines to a 2+?

This is the army wide rule for the Tyrant's Legion.

Juding for IA 9 , The tyrant's due only increases cover save from a very specific source.

Does the ADL count as an Auxilia infantry unit?

And it still only works with the save conferred by a single type of cover.

Yep, only the save for passing through Auxillia; just checked. So you get a 4+, and if the auxillia themselves were behind an aegis, and your marines were also in a position to benefit from the Aegis, You would only benefit from the Aegis without the tyrants due added or the auxillia with tyrants due(as they provide the same cover save); unless you go to ground; where the Aegis is the better save.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
