Hey guys, I have been mostly painting 15mm historical stuff and just getting back into WH40k after about a 16 year break.
I was experimenting with pre shading here: (sorry for poor quality it is a cell phone pic that doesnt do the model justice)

Now I have some questions, the vehicle is mid stage right now as I will apply lighter color to large open panel areas to make it look faded.
I was thinking of also dry brushing the vehicle corners/edges to make it look a bit worn.
Is that overkill when combined with pre shading and panel highlighting ?
Any one done both? Would you mind sharing a picture?

Drybrushing the edges with a pale colour after airbrushing to make them look worn is a pretty common method for painting tanks.
